Still have a draft to happen, both sides could operate as standalone clubs if required to (wont, but say theres a split between NM and it's VFL affiliate)
Get young talent in the door at both sides. The merged team would effectively have twice the draft picks. Big sign will be if NM goes hard trading players out for picks.
