If you're not disappointed with the game, then you're accepting mediocrity. The game was shocking for both sides - with terrible skill errors. How many times was the ball turned over in the midfield, or marks dropped? Both sides have a long way to go on yesterday's display. Do you think either team would have got anywhere near Geelong?
North wasn't full strength either - Hamish McIntosh is 1st ruck, almost AA last year, Aaron Edwards broken leg, Jesse Smith in our top 5 players, Jess Sinclair not played a game this year, Nathan Thompson, Andrew Swallow.
Injuries don't explain why the skills were atrocious yesterday.
Agree with most of what you said, except you can't say Thompson out isn't full strength.
He was dropped due to form reasons.
