The longer we waited the more the throng of media and general public continued to grow – even Classic Hits FM and 3AW were there – I didn’t think Snoop Dogg would have much appeal to their demographic.

From 'OG-Rated' to just plain old 'G-Rated'.

Snoop's has been one of the more tragic celebrity falls from grace.....in reverse.

Gee, Molly could barley open his eyes...But nothing new there.

Some good pics there.

Did you know that Darryn Lyons was there?

When compared to Chris Isaak it looks like Molly could use a facelift!

I saw Darren Lyons from a distance Nick. In the right circumstances I would have had a chat with him.

Hehe, more like a face reconstruction...

Darren seems like a good bloke to have a beer with.

Did you get to talk with any of the celebs?

I did but I'm bound by confidentiality.

Nice pics blackshadow, though I'm not sure I would have enjoyed the day as you experienced it.

I'm absolutely loving the way they have done up the stable area and if I hadn't had money riding on most races I would have happily spent the days watching the horses parade around. While people are crammed into all areas of the lawn there was plenty of room to move in there and often there were seats available.

Had a decent return over the last three days especially after the Oaks trifecta but things could have been much better as I had a large number of second placed horses, including Bauer. I did however have the horse that beat Viewed by a mile in the Mackinnon.

Oh and I got a nice sunburn from Tuesday as well.

Glad you mentioned this area. Agree that it is a superb renovation and a great relaxed place to wander around looking at the horses.

Well I dunno about you people, but spring carnival shat me. Some favourites getting rolled, the one you take on getting up and the longshot sneaking a place or win to ruin a tri or quaddy.

And Bank Robber finishing second in a race I plugged a g on him did not help.

How about Sunburnt Land from the Matt Ellerton stable??

Killed by lightning on Thursday evening whilst spelling just a few kms nw of Melbourne.

Shit luck!:thumbsd::(

How about Viewed's mum's half sister (aged 12)? Rescued from the meat men by a kind horsewoman a little while back (for $600). Then Viewed wins the Cup and the woman's mare is now worth $100k and possibly so are her babies. They call the mare "Mary" and say there was something about Mary that made that woman buy her.

Great luck!:thumbsu::)

Of interest to omen followers from this Board:

HORACE, an unraced 3 yo by Umatilla is racing at Kyneton at 2.30 today.

If not this start, is likely to make a bold showing at his next outing.

Thanks for bumping this thread Mr. R. I missed it originally. Wouldn't it be nice to be a 3 yo again, well maybe a little older.

Just like to say that I am still running in that race. :)

Euge sounds like a much much better prospect but then we all knew that anyway didn't we.

Horace, you're far too modest. You've had 11 starts and won 3 and been placed twice. You've won $31k and you haven't started since January.

Are you recovering from an injury?

You're 5 y.o now too. It was your birthday 25 days ago.

I'm sure your owners are reasonably pleased with you.:)
