3. Mark Gasnier (St.George)
4. Justin Hodges (Brisbane)
5. Greg Inglis (Melbourne)
6. Darren Lockyer (capt) (Brisbane)
7. Johnathan Thurston (N.QLD)
8. Willie Mason (Canterbury)
9. Cameron Smith (Melbourne)
10. Petero Civoniceva (Brisbane)
11. Luke O'Donnell (N.QLD)
12. Nathan Hindmarsh (Parramatta)

Breakdown: Brisbane 5, Canterbury 4, Melbourne 3, N.QLD 2, St.George 1, Manly 1, Parramatta 1

What does everyone think? Inglis and Matt King playing out of position on the wing and Cooper Cronk not even in the team.

With King, fair enough.

With Inglis, he's wasted on the wing ...

Yeah I'd swap Hunt and Inglis. Cronk would have been a very handy bench player as he can handle 6,7 or 9 with aplomb. I'd have him there instead of Kite.

Reni Maitua? LOL, where is Dallas Johnson? Easily the best lock in the game.

7 Queenslanders in the run-on side and 8 in the 17. :thumbsu: This is after Ricky Stuart only wanted Lockyer for the Anzac test.

Thurstan has expected to be named at half for ages. It was fairly common knowledge he was going to get the number 7 up here.

I would have had Cronk at halfback, he is fit and he has proved himself this year. The same could be said for Hornby I suppose. Thurston is an awesome player but its going to be bloody hard to make a comeback after so long on the sidelines straight into a Test Match against the Kiwis.

Menzies would have been nice in the forwards somewhere but I believe he has retired from representative duties which is a crying shame.

I still don't reckon smith deserves a gig before berrigan. Berrigan wiped his arse of the pitch in the GF.
