Crazy how fresh a memory can seem. 2000s has kinda distorted that even more?

That was the first time playing against D.Motlop, over there and we were up for it.

Remember working in a tiny o/s workspace tracking the scores..

What's actually funny is they played the current theme song after the final siren (which we've been using since 2007). Not the one we all hated.

I really enjoyed watching that. I did notice that we were employing a very unusual game strategy. When we had the ball in the midfield, the forwards would run in the direction of the player with the ball, and the player with the ball would kick it towards the forward. Very unusual and radical. I know it probably wouldn't work in the modern game, but perhaps the current team could give it a try.
