Kanye West tour

Uni at 9 the next day and the inevitably ****ing horrible crowd is kind of dampening my mood for this. That setlist is nothing to get excited about. I personally subscribe to the idea that bringin it makes the song selection redundant, so hopefully he's up for it and drops a heavy rant. Otherwise $150 for 90 minutes...

Also is Runaway with Pusha really that rare? Seems everyone on KTT is amazed by it. I thought that was half the reason you'd get someone like that to open? I mean, it's like De La not coming out for Feel Good Inc when they toured with Gorillaz ad nauseam. Weird.

He did 2hrs in Adelaide.

IMO he'll step it up in Melb and Syd as they're major cities.

Get ****ing pumped bro!

2hr set, NIP and Pusha T for Runaway. Gad damn
NIP twice... that new start... proper setlist, two screens apparently and I'm guessing this a whole new set-up? Officially excited, hearing that he isn't phoning in the same shows and inflicting some personality is great to hear. That Perth hate on KTT though... Anyway, really looking forward to Melbs.

Apparent Adelaide setlist from KTT:

adelaide setlist (adelaide fam plz help):
on sight
send it up
black skinhead

not sure of order:
cold
mercy
clique
stronger
gold digger
all falls down
runaway (with pusha t)
rant
good life (4 times)
touch the sky
jesus walks
diamonds
cant tell me nothing
heartless (no autotune)
power
all of the lights

encore:
botl
fellows in parris (twice)

Can confirm Adelaide show was GOAT. Really enjoyed it.. You would expect Melbourne and Sydney to get an even better show than we had

going tuesday night, was kind of happy I read that it was 90 minutes, but 2 hours should be all good

saw him in Atlanta on watch the throne and it was great, no yeezus stuff there though so got something new to look forward to

Exactly what are you expecting this crowd to be like?
Come on man, it's not the most bizarre call in the world. Pretty varied as you'd expect, hopefully GA's a little more communal and excitable but chill but considering he's probably the second biggest rapper in the world, it could be a fairly bogan and narrow crowd – and I say this as someone who defends pop music probably too much on this forum. RLA will naturally attract that.

I think you're being a little pessimistic there, his music isn't really targeted at the 'gangsta' crowd like a 50 Cent show would be. I was at the Perth show the other night and the crowd was far more relaxed and sociable than some of the other shows I've seen recently including Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian

I stand correct, interesting to hear. Yeezus probably adds to that.

Surely any of the 'mainstream' teenage girl crowd a la those at Arctics were turned off after Ye released Yeezus and took his public persona to an obnoxious, dislikable level. I'm hoping for mostly hip-hop heads who will appreciate his new stuff and his back catalogue.

A performance of fellows in Paris would be great, too, and I definitely think he'll keep this ramped-up 2 hour set time for Melbourne (or even more?)

Pop up shop on Chapel tomorrow apparently. Not that his merch is cool at all!

Damn his Adelaide show does sound better than what he did in Perth. Did he have a rant during runaway as well?

Also I forgot to mention that good life was by far my favourite performance of the night.
