Brilliant! One of the best performers in the world. His energy is amazing.

50 told ME! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! that was awesome.

And that robot chick thing that came out on drunk and hot girls although most had no idea what the point of it was.. hahah..

Couldn't work out if it was Puffy or Kanye on stage. Not really a fan so didn't do it for me but the majority of the crowd liked it.

Overall it was a pretty poor ran event with sound problems and artist overlapping. Pharoahe Monch Had mic problems and started 25 minutes late and then you couldn't hear him for the first 5 tracks. They finally fixed the problems and the show was great finishing with Simon Says.

Now because of the sound problems with Pharoahe Monch it meant he overlapped with Cypress Hill who most fans at Pharoahe wanted to see. So I along with many others either missed the start of Cypress or the end of Pharoahe.

Cypress did OK but was a shame that the majority of the crowd had no idea and stood still not knowing the songs apart from Insane In The Brain and Hits From The Bong. Also the stage beside the main stage gave clashes with the music at different times making it hard to hear the main stage even if you were centralised on the hill.

Still enjoyed my day but would have to have some people I really wanna see to get $130 out of me again with there half assed set up.

Kind of glad to hear that deck. I wanted to go to see Aston Shuffle, Bag Raiders, Pharoah Monch and Cypress (have seen Kanye before at Festy Hall, ended up getting arrested - not good memories) - but decided against it because I just had a bad feeling the mash of genres would result in a bit of an average crowd experience. Sounds like I was right.

Enjoyed it. Kanye is a wicked entertainer. He loves putting on a show for the fans.

While Kanye was awesome as a perfomer the ****en sound was rubbish. The main speakers blew into his 2nd song so people from half way up the hill couldn't hear him for the entire set. Lucky I was closer than half way

Thievery were really good, Cypress are ave imo. Last years Good Vibes was 100 times better but would go see Kanye again if he came to town

Cypress are terrible, honestly they are the worst group that gets away with being percieved as good by both the mainstream and more underground sort of listeners.

This years line up was average, Besides Kanye there wasn't much for me. I like Pharoe Monch, but seeing him ment missing the rapture, which I did, but could have seen the Rapture anyways cos Pharoe Monch was about 20 minutes late on stage. Would have liked to see katalyst but spent time getting good postion for Kanye. Also, what happened with A Love? Was in the lineup and maps given out on the day but not on the line up on the timetable at the roots stage

did anyone catch the rapture? and if so did they play any material at all off echoes? i fear they will neglect that album on sunday in perth.

as for kanye (cyprus), bah, im leaving good vibes early to see explosions in the sky which is going to be one of the experiences of my lifetime.

ANyone catch Kanye at the Grammys with my favourite Franch Robots? Was insane.

was that the nite he had "mama" shaved on the side of his head and was cashing in on his mums death ?

What an arsehole.

i left early to goto another concert but my mates said he sucked big time. the crowd werent into it, the sound was weak and he didnt seem to put in heaps of effort.

Kanye puts in more effort than any rapper Ive seen live. I dont know about the crowd in Perth, but I know in Melbourne a very large amount of people went just for Kanye, so they got right into him. The sound quality Ill admit was sub par, which is often the case at festivals, but when your having a good time and yelling the words with them you hardly notice

In what way? Awesome stage show, interesting versions of songs live, even the weaker songs like Heard em Say and Stronger are awesome in his shows. Kanye is one of the best rappers to see live.

Sound system seemed sub par (not his fault). Bunch of idiots in the crowd (also not his fault). But I just thought he wasn't as good as he was billed to be. He didn't give off as much energy as I thought he would and the songs just didn't do it for me at all.

Kanye has done more for music than Cypress Hill. He has more creativity, music sense, and energy on stage than most.He may not be the best rapper around, but he makes up for this in his dedication to his fans and passion for music.

Im sick of people hating on Kanye, it seems to be the 'cool' thing to do these days, go cop his album and listen to some of the s**t he has to say. He is more than the ego and attitude that you see. And Chicago music has taken off thanks to him.

Lawl at people crapping on Cypress hill, but then singing praise to Kayne West, some people really dont get music

Are you actually serious? The band that sings such smash hit songs as Hits from the Bong, Green Thumb and god knows how many other pot references? Forget about comparing them to Kanye, they are as bad as Nelly or Chingy or any other commercialised rapper out there

Thought Kanye was pretty good at Good Vibes Sydney (Saturday).
But overall, a pretty s**t event this year. Last year was probably the best with the acts that came down.
