Pickering's message was consistent all the way up till the end....and Buds didn't turn-coat it & high-tail it, until the Thursday on the week immediately following our 2013 Premiership success....Turning those celebrations prematurely sour.

We'd pretty much resigned ourselves to losing him by then, given his lack of a signature, but the shock of his choosing Sydney over the Giants was palpable....And after it was discovered that he had met in secret with the Swans hierarchy a mere week after we lost to them in the 2012 Grand Final....A loss Buddy was most certainly complicit in by his wayward kicking on the day....You can only imagine our supporters rage & anger.

Also with Amon, you are dealing with Liam Pickering as a manager, so he plays funny buggers when it comes to trading and the media.

Amon getting 3 years after being ask to look around is a testament to his resilience. Well done.
