Status in Question Karnezis to a Melbourne club as a free agent

SEN today reporting that Karnezis will go to a Melbourne club as a delisted free agent. Surely the AFL will step in and compensate them somehow. With Longer, Polec and Docherty all looking like going for unders, this is getting sad now. The club is getting reamed.

He can only go as a delisted free agent if Brisbane delist him. If there is a contract offer, I think even if they hold off he has to nominate for the draft or PSD

Brisbane would never delist him. They would trade him to a Victorian club not give him away for free.

Couldn't care less if we send him into the PSD to make a statement to the rest of the playing group. He is the one we can afford to do it to because we won't get something that we will use for him.

Saints have not expressed interest in him and Collingwood seem to have gone cold on him. Going to laugh if he ends up on a rookie list.
