Maybe not the right place for this, but I almost signed up for Kayo and ditch Foxtel, after being a customer for 15 years. Only thing holding me back was the lack of 4k and other technical problems. Glad I waited, as Telstra are no longer taking new 'Foxtel through Telstra' customers and upgraded existing customers to the 'Platinum' package. (every channel). Sure, most of it is crap, but footy looks great and the hardware has always been user friendly and reliable.

Totally appreciate that. There's a little part of my soul which evaporates each month when the subscription is paid. If I did watch so much stuff on Foxtel it would be gone in an instant. I steal his newspapers though, so hopefully that makes me a little more Murdoch carbon neutral

Seems to be 50/50 which game with 4k stream has just enough lag to frustrate.

Needless to say, I switched off 4k in settings yesterday and it was much better, even if the quality is not as good.
