Box Seat’s a legend.

The pressure’s building. Reckon there’ll be a riot down at Weagleland if they lose the un-losable and straight sets it.

I'm pretty sure KB is just a radio troll.

He's just trying to get a reaction out of the listeners.
Spot on.

Anyone who gets upset with KB clearly doesn't "get it".

He wants talk back boards lighting up.

The comments he makes are designed purely and simply to get listeners agitated enough to call in and have a crack at him. Sometimes this will coincide with what he genuinely believes, but not often IMO.

So, a Melbourne based station spruiking that the two Melbourne based teams are no chance this week........its as predictable as it is sad.

He also tipped, after the loos to the Dogs, that we had a tough run home and would only win 1 of the remaining 6 or 7 games and spiral out of the 8.

He didn't tip us against the Dons, and rarely tips us at all........

.......but sadly this week he could be right. We might just get beaten and beaten badly........but at least we are still playing.;)

I actually can't see west coast winning to be honest. The rain will ruin any chance they had because the talls
will be useless.

Can't say I care for your opinion, nor your decision to push your luck on our team board.
Come on ODN, you don't want to turn into Ryder is God

Jesus Christ!

A bloke said those exact words to me once when I flipped him 10 bucks to have a punt on the game. Lost by 116 points.

No offence, but I think you'll struggle to kick more than 10-12 goals.

Might be enough in a semi. The Eagles sure as hell aren't gonna kick a big score. Our defence is nicely settled and as strong as it's been all year.

On KB... as someone said... I think he's just actually a moron. Sometimes it's intentional, sometimes it's not. He's one of those unique guys who can toss a coin, look at which side comes up, and still get it wrong.

The amount of people who think we are no chance boggles the mind. This is why I was never impressed when the media were pushing our case - you just knew that they'd be off so fast.

Eagles are favourites, but if you think we're going to get thrashed with the quality in our side - you're kidding yourself.

I don't know why anyone really cares what this guy says. To sum it up, he's basically as full of shit as a long-drop that has been in use for 100 years.

As for the game though, if I had to bet money on it, I would tip the Eagles in a close one. If Cox and Kerr weren't playing then I would give us a much better chance, likewise if Gibbs and Kreuzer were playing. I think our best chance at giving this game a fair shake is to get first use of the footy out of the middle. Our midfield is one of the best in the AFL, and if they can get their hands on it first, then maybe we can get something happening in the forward line.

As alluded to in earlier posts, KB only says this stuff for 1 reason. To provoke a response.
I've seen the SEN footy panel show a few times, and any time he says something provocative about another club, he has a huge grin on his face.

Then again....maybe he really does just have NFI.

He started on again with Ratts future this AM.

Managed to draw out one Ratts hater in support.

it's evidence of his hate for our club.

Two more coaches gone overnight, yet "we want more blood".

You'd think KB having been sacked himself would be a little more sensitive, but that doesn't get the phones rining.

Nah, I'm pretty consistent with this sort of thing. Can't see the point in supporters with no vested interest in the match, just popping in to let us know that they too think we will be thrashed. Plenty of other players for them to assess our chances in random one liners. Offers zero to the thread.

In fact I equate it to people who try to sneak into the frame of someone else's interview so they can see themselves on the news.

I take your point - if he was a Weagle supporter it would be harmless banter. I do however think this pie may have an interest in the game ODN - his location is Perth and he could well be a Weagle hater who is fearful that KB might be right.;)
BUT keep up the good work - I actually like how our mods remind the oppositon what board they are on while only carding serious trolls :thumbsu:

wow, well done. you guys made it to four pages about this. fishing for self-worth?
Can't believe this made it to four pages either.

Only one way we DO NOT win tomorrow is if the Eagles get the type of umpiring that they've gotten in most of their home games this year. It's been as though the umps have been their biggest fans. A classic tale of a team not worthy of the finals who gets in based on biased umpiring and a piss weak draw.

If they do win, Geelong will flog them.

The Weagles did get an amazingly soft draw this year. Think they played only 1/2 the top-8 sides we did. That was the difference, and why they pip'd us for 4th. They got the very soft draw because of their controversial 16th finish last year. Doubt the AFL will fall for that little trick again.
