I actually cannot believe what a bullet he was, anyone know if he ever did a 20m sprint time or were all the others just slow and fat?
Not sure, but I do know for a fact that his Friday night routine, without fail, was to eat fish and chips for dinner. Every single Friday night.
Has always been a nondrinker though.

I know he could never touch his toes, never stretched before or after training or a game, and never done a hammy.

Good speech, but who were those two dodgy looking units behind KB in the richmond shirts?? Both looked like middle aged metal heads from the 80s. Pasty white, long hair, out of shape, sketchy moustaches, just a bit goofy looking to be honest..

Am sure they serve some useful purpose, they're just two blokes you really wouldn't expect to see in an AFL club room just before a game.

Haha Freezer noticed the same thing, they could've at least looked less dejected, wonder what their roles are, for mine, always found it hard to respect a fat coach, monkey say monkey do.

Absolutely a non drinker and he got his looks from his mum, great people, we used to sit together at the G, young ms wilson was there too and she was a bit of a stunner in her younger days, not sure what happened as she got older.

The more I watch this the more I want to know what the hell these two clowns actually do at the RFC?! I'm definitely not an elite athlete, and I'd struggle to take them seriously whatever their capacity.. I'd hate to think what Martin, Cotch, Lids, etc think of them!

Happy to proven wrong and have someone tell me there the best sports physios in Melbourne or something along those lines, but otherwise I'm really struggling to get my head around what they could possibly offer the high performance envionment of a game day AFL club room???

Anyone got any idea? Am gonna lose sleep on this one.....

Just watched this highlight reel of KB and oh my god he was amazing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fK4K4InPASw

At the one minute mark, he scoops the ball off the ground, in the forward pocket, twists his way around one Carlton player, sidesteps a second and slots through a goal.

God-like stuff.
that video is a fake and the guy impersonating KB is a fraud ... he handballed twice

Did anyone hear KB on SEN last week saying that Richmond were a CERTAINTY against Port Adelaide? Was ribbed about it a bit too. He knew he had that speech up his sleeve and hence was able to make the call, LOL. :D

Hmm call me Cynical but KB is our favourite son again now is he ?

Spat the dummy for a Decade and a half, ignored us like we had the plague but now he is our long lost brother.

I guess this means we would open our arms and welcome Sheedy back too no matter how much shit he slings at us.

KB was a great player for the club, probably our best ever but he is a sook when he doesnt get his own way.

They’re probably just local volunteer trainers/water carriers.

I think it’s common practise (someone in the know, please correct me if I’m wrong) for clubs travelling interstate to have local people in these roles. I’ve got a family friend that’s been doing it for the Crows at their Melbourne games for almost as long as they’ve been in the AFL.

They certainly look like ‘locals’, particularly the one on the right of screen…

I believe the one on the right is the Museum Curator - Roland Weeks.

Edit: Or is he on the left? Not too sure. Either way, they look weird.

Haha, musuem curator?! Jeez sure am glad we had one of those 'go to men' on board for the big trip to footy park..... Maybe its just in case JR kicked 10, and we needed to get the boots into secure storage asap.

Yeah, either way both look like a good vintage of Adelaide scozza/bogan... Funny concept getting a few locals to run water for the lads, is real throw back to suburban footy. Shows we haven't come that far in some ways since the VFL days.

Thanks for the info Equus, Maroo :thumbsu:

The guy on the left right behind KB has been at the club for years - i would suggest maybe 20 - and probably as a volunteer or getting almost nothing for what he does.

Where do you get off bagging someone who devotes their time to the club and why do you bag them - because of how they do their job ? No because of how they look.

Pathetic.

My take on it is that he has buried the hatchet and so should we. Watching some of those you tube highlights made me really stoked to have him back in the fold.

I can remember in about 1977 or 78, when I started barracking for the Tigers and I wanted 29 on my jumper. my nana said 'no, he wont be playing much longer, pick someone else!'. Ended up with Barry Rowlings 2 instead...
