Looks like Jedd is going to sign and bring a few mates from Melb with him, Clint lives and plays in Koroit so I don't think he's a chance, I'm living in NT but will hopefully fly down for a few matches, Kizza will more than likely stay at Gig, though it depends on what Scotty ends up doing and Stevie Rass is assistant coach at Rochy so no chance at Rushy either.. The tiges are in talks with a few very handy recruits and will also get key defender Sam Perry back, so hopefully a chance to play finals in 2011..

The Tigers should be right up there in season 2011. Had a good, young list last year that let themselves down at times but with those players gaining that extra year of experience, a new coach coming in and a host of handy players in talks with the club/close to signing Rushy could well be on the move up the ladder

Yeah i don't see much changing out Ardmona way anytime soon. In desperate need of some quality players. You'd think they would be a fair chance each year to snare some more lesser players in the GV from the likes of Mooroopna and the Shepp clubs. Obviously money is the main issue there.
How are Longwood looking so far, any talk of recruits? Any chance for them to climb the ladder? Is Bourke still Coach?

Who are they losing Hank. I have heard that Stevey Thomson and Casey may head back to Ky, haven't heard much else though? Do you have any names.
Yeah Thomson, Casey, Warren, Pryde, Roberts and a question mark over Burnett were the names mentioned, don't know how close that is but was coming from one of the Wombat players.
Thomson was their best player by a fair way and Pryde looked the goods against us, just needed to clamp a few more marks. Losing Pryde and Casey up forward would be a big blow. If they were to lose both Thomson and Burnett then Brunty would be up for a torrid year onball as not to sure they'd have to many other ball winners.
They also seem to be missing out on most of the disgruntled Ky players as they are all heading out to Tonny. Luke Souter, Luke McGill, Brad Vick, Adam Lovison all committed on top of Matt Deledio and Tyson DiPetta ex Ky boys bypassing returning to Ky for Tonny.

Big losses there for the Bats if they eventuate. They had a fairly old list as well so losing some key young guys could really hurt them.
Souter and Mcgill are Tonny boys so there's no real surprise they are heading back. They both were pretty stiff not to get more senior games at Ky. The other boys I would suspect that Lancy wouldn't have the cash to match Tonny and they probably wanted to play at a higher level than KDL. Will all be handy pickups for Tonny.

i know a couple of the boys mentioned and they have said their playing at lancy, so not sue where the info come from. s thomson would be the one that would be hard to keep youd think, but i think they are confident of keeping most, if not all.
any news elsewhere, the gum and gig, where are they at? any comings or goings?

Nagambie look to be losing a few after a couple of strong years with some success. It was well documented after the GF that Rob Auld was on the move and to my knowledge only one application (a former McNamara medalist who's son has also won one) has been submitted for the job to date.
In regards to players it looks as though Nagambie will more than likely lose the following - Brent Clydesdale, Linc Sullivan and Shane Woods (retired), Danny Haysom (Overseas travel), Ant Haysom (GVFL/BFL), Pat Rattray, Jackson Hutton & Ben Hutton (Melbourne), Jake Lloyd (Tatura). Also think Quaide Comi could be on the move but not too sure on this one.

I'd expect Undera to lose a couple with Mahoney stepping down as coach. Glen James has retired and id say one or two more might do the same. I'd also expect a couple of others to move on but having said that they may not and Undera could also recruit pretty well with Godsy and Sammy as the Coaches. Haven't heard any news on recruits yet though

I posted on GF day that the whisper around was that Naggaz were losing up to 10 senior players, guys like Haysom,Comi,Rattray,Clysdale were thrown around and also Undera would lose plenty. Hazlewood andn Spiro been told are gone and probably 3-4 of there top liners along with those 2.

Stanhope will more than likely lose 3 of the Echuca guys, Blair Suffolk - QLD, Rick Pritchett - travelling, and Matt Martin retiring maybe. One or two others up in the air but the rest look to be staying.
I was told last night that Sanders, Patten, Stokes and Armstrong are all looking at moving on. Not sure how true this is though. Wasn't Sanders the Stanhope captain this year?

Armstrong is looking at joining the Air Force I'm pretty sure which would be the only reason why he doesn't play. As far as the other 3 are concerned they should all still be at Stanhope next year. Stokes would probably be the only questionable one.
Sanders was captain in 2010.

From what i understand Armstrong has already signed over at Tat and Patten will be going over there for atleast the pre season also. Sanders and Stokes are more than likely heading to Rochy, i could be wrong.

Maybe i was told wrong then. A member of the tatura footy club told me Armstrong had already committed to them and Patten was heading over there for a look also after both had been in meetings with the club??????

Haven't heard that, I know Mooroopna were interested in Stokes and Patten and were setting up meetings. Tatura may have been in talks with them, but I'm just going on what I know mate.
Lachlan is looking to join the air force, if he doesn't get in then not sure if he will stay or head to GV, The Tat call maybe on the money as his old man played a fair bit of footy there. As for Ryan Patten he has been courted by Mooroopna and maybe Tat but from what he has said he will be staying put for another year.
Colonel Sanders is thinking about doing a pre-season at Rochy and will see what transpires from there.
Matt Stokes unsure about, hasn't committed to stay so could be looking elsewhere.
