Don't know if I'd be getting too carried away with Lancaster. Their departures list is as long as their arrivals. Pell, Howard, Warren, Roberts out, with Pryde to follow mid year. Nunn, Siera, Meka (not expected to play until June) and Jason Casey whoever that is? Maybe someone from lancy can fill us in? And apparently the ruckman hasn't committed yet 5 days out from round 1.

In saying that it gave some other players an opportunity to put there name forward for selection which will make selection next Thursday very interesting.

But as you said was a good hitout for both sides and will be interesting to see how we go when we come across one another in the coming season

U could chuck in Hally and marto aswell, that would be, full back, centre halfback,rukman,ruckrover,rover,centreman,full forward,wingman,backflanker. Mmm few headaches at selection harro?:rolleyes:

You will know who Jason Casey is after Round One thats for sure!!! He is a jet and no one in the league will be up with him! And thats a big call cos theirs some good on ballers in the comp!!! If you want to kno anything about him maybe have a look at St Marys honour board in Geelong, that might help you figure out who he is!!! Blood and Tommy has retired and will both telll you they were finished at the end of last year!! Howard player 3 games I think it was. Would have been good to see him in full flight 5 years ago cos he would have been a gun!!!Dont know who your source is but i hope your not putting ur life in their hands but Pryde is there for the year!!! You have made it sound like the boys that we have recruited are picola league 2nds players and if you knew much about footy you would know they aint!!!!

Runners up: Can't choose , will know a lot more after this weekend as not sure where Rushy are at ! But could blanket about 4-5 teams ...

League Medal : Daryl Harrison(How is the body Hank ?)

Wooden Spoon:Merrigum(Does'nt sound good a few departues that they could ill afford to lose)

Goal Kicker:Sam Laporta ( If he wins it means Undera have had a fairly good year and will be there abouts)

Headline : Lancaster go thru the season undefeated only to CHOKE at the final hurdle.But are happy cause its one better then the last three seasons !!

Body not too bad, first time since my knee reco (05) that I haven't done a hammy in pre-season, so far, hopefully I can get through the next 10 days!!.

Who said I was talking about Stanhope:confused:, obviously not the blokes mentioned who may qualify, as they might be handy, but wouldn't think either could kick enough goals in 4-5 games to take out the goalkicking.

Should be massive Earl! Everyone is coming to watch Jason Casey! haha;)

Nah, will be a good crowd, everyone is excited that country footy is back! Hopefully the ground holds up well.
Will be interesting to see how both sides recruits go.
Bats to be with out Jason's cousin Nic who is suspended from Prelim last year.

Murchison are looking great for numbers for the Under 18's. We've got around 23 players at the moment which is great considering that we have 10 from last year who are either too old or have moved to other clubs (two have gone to Tatura).

Andrew Ferguson and Mick Tuhan have done a great job so far, and although I can't see us dominating like last season, they should finish in the finals.

Also, I've heard that they are going to have a mercy rule for the Under 18's, and that the scores won't be counted if it gets beyond 10 goals by 1/2 time (or something like that).

I don't agree with that for Under 18's, something like that should only be done from Under 16's down, because a rule like that creates too many anomalies when it comes to the ladder, percentages, records (James Milne's record of 30 goals will be there forever if this goes ahead), and finals places.

I understand why the league wants to do this, but I believe that you should treat games a bit more seriously from Under 16's onwards, and let any grades below that be a place to learn to play.

Where did i say this? What I said was, the losses are as many as the gains. Howard, Pell, Hausler and Roberts were all in your 1st 18 in last year's prelim. The amount of games they played (ie. Howard) is irrelevant. On that basis you would say Eddy would be no loss (as he only played a couple). If Roberts and Pell are finished are you saying you wouldn't take them back? and wouldn't Carver or Siera be in the same boat, given that he's the same age as Roberts, and with a dodgy hammy too. And Tom Warren was arguably your best defender. The player's you've lost are hardly Picola league 2nds players either. But to make my point, maybe I should just use a lot of!!!! (I counted 21 in your Jason Casey love fest) If these guys are so good, you might find yourself playing the early game. And have you gained the services of a ruckman yet? You might need one of those too. I'm not saying you won't be the best team in it, I'm just saying that there are as many players out of the side as there are in. Comparing the quality of the ins v outs, well I guess September will be the judge of that.

Was tabled Cletus and I think a fair few club delegates may have been for it, but it was unanimously turned down by the U/18 coaches and I don't think it will rear its head again for a few years.

On 3rds numbers, Stanhope have 21, with 3 injured and out till atleast Easter, so 18 for the first couple of weeks.

Mercy rule unanimous but may have been that Skin suffered short term memory loss over Moama carnival. Pretty sure two years ago that KDFL played Picola at Deakin before Moama. Lure could have been that jumpers were taken back until Moama carnival.

Gosh, missed the Nic Casey suspension. Was it due to some to some sort of public display of obscene self love in celebration of a goal?

haha, if it's the same player I'm thinking he is, he missed one right on the goal line when playing at VT last year, put it out on the full... no celebrations there...
Think he bumped an Undera player high that was low to the ground in search of the footy or getting rid of it if I remember right at the prelim..? Not 100% sure though.
 
How has Chris Eddy been moving on the track for Lancaster. Is he still limping or fully recovered now. Will be like a new recruit if fully fit.
