Ahhhh so inspiring to read what some clown thinks they might know but don't.

But I will give you a bit of credit with the amount of $35,000.

That believe it or not is the amount that Hayden and Daffy (to the uninitiated his old man) raised this year towards the clubs coffers.

Get your facts right before you post crap and while your at it make a call to Merrigum and ask how much Daffy raised for Jack Anderson.

There's a lot of experts on here that know a lot of stuff somehow. I've been on our committee for a while now (one of the poor buggers raising the $$ JC...) and havent got a clue who gets what. Probably because I really dont want to know! There's that, and the fact that not many have been paid much at all lately.

$35K?!? C'mon "Lanky", where would you pull a figure like that from and does anyone seriously believe that?! 15-20K is a huge packet, 35K is bullsh... I hope VT does win a premiership, but only if it's against the Wombats

We got lucky with Burners. Best coach we've had and best player we've had. Probably the lowest paid playing coach in the kdl.
Burnett $8K, Lamaro $35K. VT need to win the flag or they are stuffed.

Its been 21 years since Vt won a flag so to have a crack wouldn't be unreasonable, the club is in great shape to remain strong for many years to come..Some real facts would be nice for a change instead of that 35k crap you posted...Can you tell us where you got your info from...

It's been a while since I've read this forum, and it's been a interesting conversation about player renumeration (Personally, John Carrot's idea of a points system, that the O&M has for thier competiton, has some merit, because the KDFL can't end up like the English Premier League, and have only 2-3 sides capable of winning the title every year), my point is that anything we can do to make things more fair and equitable (i.e "Share the Wealth"), shouldn't be dismissed, and the league's only as strong as it's weakest link.

I know that some clubs will pay too much for players, and that in turn will distort the true market value of players out there in the recruiting market generally, but it's unhealthy have this race to the top continue unabated

Hopefully, with the reforms to the VCFL happening in the coming years, we can seriously look at keeping a sense of balance and equity between the traditionally top and traditionally bottom clubs from the Major Leagues down to the District Leagues, because you have to give clubs hope of better times on the horizon, because as it stands now, for some clubs it just looks like more years of pergatory.

Supposed to be a balanced draw over 3 years but after 2012 Stanhope will have played Nagambie once at home and once away but played Undera twice at home and away, does that mean we don't play Undera at all in 2013.
Surely they can get it right for once, the 3rds draw was a total **** up this year and they came out with the big spiel of equality of 3 years and they still can't even do that.

VT have not been to Longwood yet and I reckon since we have been in the league have only been to Tally once and have seemed to play both undera and stanhop twice.

Unless ofcourse it's you which would be even worse! I have nothing to do with lanky or the kdl, but there's a lot of sour grapes here about the money lanky spend, just deal with it, there not going to change there not spending above the budget and there always there abouts. Other clubs need to stop knocking them and maybe follow them!!

You must have a bit of trouble reading buddy, never have l said what Hayden gets paid on this forum or outside the club. We have complete transperancy in which our committee know exactly what he gets paid and its nothing what was suggested by Lanky. As far as clubs spending money, l don,t care what other clubs are doing because we put all our energy into our club to make it successful. Now hop down off your high horse, put on your glasses and have a good read of the previous post and maybe you will come to a different conclusion champ...

Is that round 1 on Easter? Dont remember that happening for a while, if ever? It could make round 1 interesting if some clubs have players not playing.
