It's been suggested that the PDFL will play 2 sides , it hasn't been decided and the Vcfl have made an error IMO , in releasing that draw.
Should the PDFL choose to only play one side, it may mean that one of the sides that the PDFL has been drawn to play will be without a game ?

KDL will play the O&K, with the PDFL left out in the cold I'd say, whether or not the VCFL were told about the PDFL still not making a decision probably won't worry them and now they have the draw out I'm sure if the PDFL pull a side the VCFL won't look too kindly on it, even if it is their fault;)

The PDFL haven't pulled a side and have at no stage made a commitment of 2 sides ?
The prospect of two I/L sides was raised with no vote or decision
made, and I'd suspect that it is far from over the line .
Should the PDFL not wish to play an additional side , you'd suspect the last on first off is likely to apply.
Not aware of who and in what order leagues expressed their intention to be a part of the Vic Championships in 2012 , there may be another league wishing to play ?

The world dosen't revolve around your league, if your league can't make a committment then you should miss out , not the last on first off scenario that you suggested..

It's not my league , the league in question has made a committment , which is to one side , which is why the releasing of a draw with it having 2 teams is quite unusual !

I'm not sure if your just joking, have a grudge against the PDFL or just clearly dont understand what Roar Passion is saying?? The PDFL have made a committment to play in the interleague but as a league they still haven't decided if they are entering just 1 team combined with players from both leagues or 1 team from each league, & is why it is unclear why the VCFL have released the draw without this being confirmed which way the PDFL can afford to go with cost, admin support, players etc! Besides if they do only enter 1 side i'm sure the VCFL would find another league.....

& thats exactly why country footy in Victoria is F@#$*D, if the VCFL know they may have made a mistake by releasing the draw early without clarifying which way the PDFL can afford to go but as u say "will still leave them out in the cold" is just a shit hole bullish tactic & as stated is why country victoria football is headed in the wrong direction overall!!!!!

if the PDFL have 2 leagues then they should put in 2 teams, not pick and chose one team from both....

Interesting point because according to that draw the MPNFL have 3 sides playing interleague. There's the MPNFL side playing against the GVFL, as well as the Casey Cardinia and Nepean sides who happen to be playing against each other.

Although there's no Peninsula interleague side.

That is what they are doing this season but i think last year they fielded just the one side from across all their leagues

l agree with this Hank, the KDFL discussed and voted on this topic during last footy season and informed the VCFL of our decision to participate in 2012, The PDFL have had plenty of time to work out if they are going to put 1 or 2 sides into the competition. PDFL clubs should have been notified about all the scenarios via an email, voted on these at club level, then voted on at league level. Don't understand the hold up, perhaps the VCFL should have given the PDFL a hurry up with their decission or what l don't know, but why should the KDFL miss out ( if uneven amount of sides entered that is ) when we made a early comittment to play..Last in first out dosen't cut in my eyes but that is only my opinion...

How do you know that the VCFL didn't approach PDFL to put in the extra team to even the draw up just so you wouldnt miss out? Would make sense to approach PDFL before another league considering they have two divisions. Maybe that could be explanation for hold up on PDFL part and bit of confusion at present.

This could be the case but l doubt it.

The Gum is underway for the 2012 campaign. Second training was held tonight, 30+ at both sessions. Would have been good to have 30+ to choose from round one last season!! :D. Christian Barney and Josh Stammers really quality leaders from what we've seen so far. How's the numbers for all other clubs? Or when do other clubs fire up in the new year?

Also Paul Burnett apparently interleague coach???

The only commitment the VCFL has from the PDFL, is one side , which was made a long time ago , voted on by all club delegates and after the league was sounded out after the O & K had shown interest in joining the VCFL championships .

Not a bad turnout at Stanhope's first training run last night, bout 25-30 on the track. Few new faces and plenty of young blokes looking to press for senior selection in 2012

Post #133 "It's not my league"

Yeah thats correct, "It's not his league" where he cant influence any decisions they make, he didn't say he "wasn't involved" with in the league at some compacity! There is a difference... Besides we are getting off topic here anyway, this is just petty crap really!!

First training out at Murchison last night with another to go before the new year. Had 45 or so on the track which was very pleasing to see. Lots of new faces around
