How many guys have Lancaster had out the past months that would slot into their best 21 though?
I know of Nunn, Daff, Barnett and Burnett who would slot into their best dozen at least.
Whats that got to do with it?
Just trying to point out that they should have a couple more to come back in which would make the premiership race a bit more interesting.

Andrew ralph has been to 3 clubs this year now , lucky clearences have closed or he might of caught up with Dean Turner i think he topped 4 in 10 weeks, ralph got the sh8ts when they would not play him because of his bad Knee, So Lancy not paying any money out this year my arse, rumor has it that not to many happy campers out that way anyway ??? What happened to Joe Deangiles did he try taking over the club ??
On a different note, just heard ardy are considering forfeiting this week & potentially folding.. Can anyone confirm this..? Apparently not too many blokes keen to see out the year & even less looking forward to a hammering from jaxbac's mob.
Hope so Tav, we might save $15000 on match payments if this was to happen

Wouldn't be surprised after the hammering they copped last week, sad for the comp when we start losing sides. Was bad enough last week when we only got the 1 game of football and 3 netball games against Longwood.
If Ardy were to fold, what would happen to the netball teams as they have a full compliment there?
No football no netball one would have thought but lets hope this is not the case. I hope there is a game tomorrow but you can only kick a dog so many times before it walks away..

I remember Longwood doing that to Glenrowan 20 years ago in the B&DFL, when the standard of that league then was the equivalent of the KDFL now. Over the next few years the standard of the league began to drop with the spoon dwellers left with no option but to fold, merge or move to a stronger league with the hope of attracting better players.
With the league team numbers depleted the standard of the league dropped further as the limited competition made it difficult for the clubs to attract good standard players.
The B&DFL ended up a country football joke. I sure hope the KDFL is not following the same path!!

Apparently 34.11 for Whelan, a lazy 45 shots on goal. That is incredible.
It certainly is.. Damien yze kicked 25 in a match playing for ardmona in 2002 & Scott turner (ironically a relation to dt who was brought up on here the other day) also jagged 25, I think playing for tally against nagambie in about '97.. They held the record for most goals in a game, but wheels annihilated that yesterday.. Even if they don't end up winning it this year wheel's is going to have a record that will possibly stand as long as the kdfl is in existence.
Good luck to the tigers today, sounds like lanky have brought a few in, fingers crossed they have a good one and give themselves some breathing space in the five..
we might be able to post a few photos of wheels standing one out in the fifty with three opponents but still out marking them.

! WHAT THE!!!.It was an amazing game especially from the Whelan point of view but credit to Ardy, they put 2 sides on the field and never stopped trying all day. They have cleaned alot of sh1t out which has made them vulnerable on the field but sometimes you have to go backwards before you go forward..Good luck to the club.

Lancaster in jeopardy of not even having the opportunity to defend their title come finals time after falling to Rushy today, on the other hand Rushy have gone 6pts clear of the chasing pack in 4th. Shane Sali was best for Lancy in his first game for the club, and Andrew Ralph also played.

Who would have picked that at the start of the season?
Will be a very interesting battle for that 5th finals spot with 5 sides (Murch, Tally, Stanhope, Lanky & Avenel) fighting out for that final position.
Make or break game between Stanhope & Avenel this weekend you would think? With the loser just about out of the equation? Lanky could be in the same boat if they drop their game agaisnt Murch, then out at Tally its a similar story. Must win games for all sides!

What's Lanky's excuse this time??? Been using the injury list for along time but this weekend had Barnett and Nunn back with 2 new good players and still couldn't win against a decent team.
Don't they know that it's football not handball??? A lot of talk round the ground is gees why don't they just kick the F***ing ball, and that's not just from the opposing team supporters either.
What is their problem at the moment?? Coach?? Premiership hangover??? Too big for their boots??
They have a fantastic thirds side and the reserves ain't half bad either so know idea what's going on up top.....

Believe Tonny reserves are a chance for the flag and he wants to go back and play with a few mates (reid brothers, Brennan's, etc) who are there.
The finals aspirants have their fate in their own hands; there’s a lot of big games coming up in the next 8 rounds. Murchison look to have the hardest finish to the season and Lancaster having an easier run home than their counterparts, perhaps they could come home with a wet sail?
