Unless Stanhope beat Girgarre by substantially more than you guys beat Rushy, or you lose to Rushy!!Correct. 6% above Stanhope after today, will go to top if VT beat Murch
Jake Lloyd will be coaching rushy again, and you would think all top 5 teams would continue with their coaches. Burnett and lancy will be an interesting one as they've made the finals, but does he want the job?? Will Patto go another year at gig?? Same for terry m at undera.. Obviously ardy are looking and you'd think longwood would be the same, and with Muir at avenel and Mahoney at tally being in their first years at the their clubs, would suggest they'd get a second year.So who are the ins and outs for the coaches in 2014???

Its Tim Muirs second year and he told the club a few weeks back he isn't doing it next yearJake Lloyd will be coaching rushy again, and you would think all top 5 teams would continue with their coaches. Are they?? Few vt blokes on Saturday were saying that lamaro was going to go round one more year, but if this isn't the case who would be in line for the job??I thought VT were looking for a new coach..?

Don't think anyone from march got reported but 2 VT players got reported after another incident made even more ridiculous. When the umpires stood around waiting for a melee to erupt instead of throwing the ball up and getting the game going.Haven't seen much KDL this year & had a kick against the gum yesterday who were clearly too slick for us. They've done well to finish 2nd & have given themselves a good shot at it. Pell was impressive, his 3rd term, in particular, was very good. Then they had the luxury of Sali on a wing.. Launched a couple from 60m on the left peg which will be an asset in the coming weeks.
Stiff for Stanhope, if I read it correctly they'll have to beat lancy at lancy, then the winner of nagambie v VT (which will be a cracker), then the loser of merrigum v murch, just to make it...? If they win it they'd have earned it! Given that, you'd think the likely winner will come from the top 2, bearing in mind murch had a couple of reports on the weekend.
Closest finals series in memory coming up, good luck to all teams competing.

From all reports after the game murch have already had the name engraved on the premiership trophy
On another note VT did not get a senior footballer invited to the league medal count when perhaps the league could have got themselves some publicity by inviting the ex AFL players and even our sole vic country rep along for the night maybe get the club tv show up to shoot a bit of footage but .............
Piss weak
How's Hank feeling about Stanhope playing at Lancaster this Saturday?? STIFF!! My tips for the first week... Stanhope by 24pts and Nagambie to cause an upset by 1 point!

Funny you say that. One of our netballers wasn't "invited" by the league to the count, only to find out on Saturday by the league at the final game that she was required to be there. Clearly some people have been missed! In fairness would any of those ex afl players even bother turning up to a country vote count? Very stiff on patty! Why they haven't invited any players from VT is strange, it must be a mistake. I would think they'd invite all the favorites from each team or at least the middle ladder to top teams. Does that mean that pell would be a shoe in? Murch or Stanhope would have some blokes in contention. Will be interesting to see who wins.

Why do they have to get invited? They are part of the league so I am sure all players, supporters and volunteers are very welcome to attend!!Not if they don't get invited -
Very true Mr. Hank. But everyone is very welcome to attend, they just need to show interest to the club official organising numbers for the club's table(s). Maybe a bigger venue to accommodate everyone? Why do they have to get invited? They are part of the league so I am sure all players, supporters and volunteers are very welcome to attend!!
As for Patty, all league representative should get 'special' invitations, let alone if you have represented the league at state level, not that that has ever happened in previous years.
3 players from Gig invited with about 10 going to fill the tableVery true Mr. Hank. But everyone is very welcome to attend, they just need to show interest to the club official organising numbers for the club's table(s). Maybe a bigger venue to accommodate everyone?
We always have something that could be done better or improved, at any level.

Troy won medal and gig won 5 games, Paul won club b&f easy, Shaun Makar pinched some votes from him in last 4 rounds ,Gig won 6 games ?Would Parsons be invited to the count ?, he could potentially do a Gary Ablett (that's if he wins it this season for the Suns), and win the League Best & Fairest for a side that finished out of the finals (didn't Snelson win a League B&F for gig a few years ago ?), which in any case is a damn big achievement.
