Yeah got a few ins and all things considered we've had a pretty good run so far. Should get most of the other guys back soon too, no season ending injuries which is great.

Touch wood

I did Jax! I'm well aware that the calendar says June.. It's good to see how everyone's lists are travelling. I hate clubs making excuses for injuries, I certainly don't use that line.
It shows not even the top sides have full lists to pick from.
Murch have been super impressive with their recent outs, they are going to be very dangerous come September.

I agree hate blaming injuries, but just added our list for discussion.
We've also now ran into the dilemma of regular Reserves players now hitting the 8-9 game mark and needing to play 1s again, the lads went down to Gig today. A few big tests coming up in the Seniors.

Great to see Jake Ewart back at CHB in today's win over Girgarre, after his late start to the season. Ben Warnett also made it through the Reserves today.

Does the 8-9 games matter if your Senior side is still playing?

Hey Jax what did y think of Undera? Being a local I'm a bit biased but they were impressive yesty
Yes they were very impressive, ran harder and simply wanted the ball more than our blokes. While our blokes were very disappointing Undera were outstanding and deserve to play finals for sure..

Interesting to see all top 3 sides have used the same amount of players to date that being 34. Merrigum on 30, Avenal 38 and Undera 33. Just thought I would put that out there

If both sides are in finals you can pick and choose, however, under this Final Six if your senior team wont make the top two and the reserves will, a little more deliberation might be necessary.
Think the threshold for Senior games and eligibility in Reserves finals have been increased to 10, In addition to the other finals eligibility. Please correct me if I'm wrong

I see Nagambie have forfeited their last two away games in the ressies but seem to somehow find a side on home games. Must be really short still on numbers, just looks a little odd having the seniors equal top and no reserves side at all from time to time. At the start of the year their was talk that they may not have a side in the thirds but glad that they have, it would have been a short day if this be the case with very little revenue through the gate for the opposing side. Is this a sign of things to come especially when Nagambie is close to the largest town in the competition.

Haha name me some Wombats that live within 2kms of the football ground. Go on...
I know you guys know where each other lives seen that you all jump the fence a bit.ha ha.its been a long 20 years for ya I suppose you might win one eventually.

Is there any such thing as a short 20 years? I don't recall many dogs switching to the Wombats. Those who do are worth forgetting..

Are there not are a few old blokes willing, or the 3rds doubling up to even muster up 16-17? Last year we (Kilmore) fielded no 3rds but made a pledge not to forfeit a game, we had 5 guys doubling up some weeks. Not much has changed down here this year apart from a 3rds side now running out, heaven forbid I even had a run 2 weeks ago, and two guys in there 50's plus 5 3rds got the Blues 2's to 17-18 players on Satdy.

I know it's a different situation with a senior flag the goal, hoping for the Lakers things can turn around heading into finals as without 2's guys playing some form of footy, if injuries hit at the wrong time it could get tougher which no one wants to see ..... or non bias footy fans like me don't anyway
