Haha.. Well congratulations to Barney and the merrigum boys done a great job in his 3 years as coach and as most clubs and coaches have a 3 year plan to win 1..they have definately given them self every possible chance to win the big 1.. Also well done to lancy in the 2s tore us a new arse and made us look very slow and ordinary.. Luckily we have another week to try turn it around.. And avenel in the 3rds were down all day and managed to sneak over the line.. Well done to all winners.. Over & out.. :)
Well done Normo, thats a 1000 times more than what your senior coach did last week.... Maybe not all the apples are rotten out that way.... :thumbsu:

Dids has lost the plot.. Just think the condition of rushys ground at present and probably a lot of others arnt holding up as well as ours.. But to hold a 2nd semi I hope the ground will be in good condition by then..

Just a quick look at this past quote... it's just my opinion but I thought the rushy ground on Saturday wasnt too bad.. F$&@ I'll go as far to say as conditions were nearly as good as you can get for footy..

Except for the early controversy over the permissible amount of kangaroo sh*t per square metre of playing surface.

Murchison 16.7.103 d Lancaster 13.12.90
This was a good advertisement for KDFL footy, in fact all three grades were close and good games.
Jones from Murch was clearly BOG and is an absolute gun. The Lancy coach kept his team in the contest with his centre clearances and attack on the ball. Kept a close eye on Davies and Vsarmarkis. The latter looked to be unfit and I'll reserve my judgment on Davies. Great build and fitness but seemed to do a lot of unnecessary running by turning up at a contest when it was all over. Needs to be taught to run where the ball is going to go and not where it has been.

Broadford officially have applied to come into the KDL from 2015. Presentation also consists of joining Heathcote, and Yarra Valley. What are other clubs/peoples thoughts??

I think it will come down to KDL or HDL for Broadford, just a quick note from their presentation (from Broadfords perspective) Average travelling

Heathcote District: Average Kms: 119kms, Average Time: 90 mins
Kyabram District: Average Kms: 93kms, Average Time: 67 mins

Would love either Watto or Trots to give a review of the senior game especially the second half:drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk::drunk:
Well now Sparra, I thought it was an exceptional game and the second half was one to remember..CC for me was best in the second half as for Watto i'm sure he thought two horses was a standout:D:p

Been there and done the HDFL so not sure they would go back. I share the view of an old mate if mine on here that they should never have left

Interesting. Hopefully Broadford have given this intended move serious consideration. Especially if they have players coming up from Melbourne but then again they would have that problem in any league. Also joining the YVMDFL of which former WNEFL clubs Thornton. Alexandra and Yea play in. however travel from the Yarra Valley clubs going across the mountains to Broadford could be a tad to far.
If Broadford does leave the RDFL there goes a " few" local derbies against the likes of Kilmore & Wallan etc. One bonus is that they could revert back to the Black and Red sash if they are accepted in the KDL.

A move to any other league would have its pros and cons, I just wonder what the motivation for the move is?
