Leagues may structure their ingoings and outgoings somewhat differently .
However , if the league is the benefactor of leagues sponsorship and finals gate takings , administrating of the league should cost clubs nothing , in fact clubs should be seeing a return . If not there is something seriously wrong whether that be admin costs are to high , poor finals arrangements or poor sponsorship.
Woody if clubs are out of pocket the amount it has been suggested , over $10k , perhaps it's time the league put in it's own full time GM , whom they can hold accountable . Because things don't add up and someone is enjoying the gravy train a little to much at KDFL clubs expense .

Rushy Coach gone? Didn't coach Satdy? Hucker to Coach next season? Is that the right mail from the Rushy community Jayco and Woody?

Believe so Hank. Rushy coach from all reports wasn't at the game. Been told Hucker will take over next season and has a "big list of blokes who will follow".

This has been pasted directly from the RFNC Facebook page:

The committee of the RFNC has decided to seek applications for the Senior coaching position for the 2016 season. This was communicated personally to the incumbent coach Paul Close on Tuesday and Paul has opted to step down as Senior coach for the remaining two rounds. The Club thanks Paul for his efforts since being appointed and commencing coaching late last year. There is no doubt that Paul took on a post that became increasingly challenging as the season approached and he continued to remain steadfast in the face of malicious rumours that the Club would fold and some crushing defeats. The Club wishes Paul all the best for the future. For the last two matches Jayson Moore, Senior Assistant, has agreed to act as caretaker coach.

It contains no mention of who will coach in 2016 and no timeframe regarding any future announcements.

Morning all,
Interesting read about the umpires.
I went down to watch Murray league to watch Tooleybuc and they have very young umpires and very laid back umpires to be honest, but the game was very entertaining. A lot of free flowing football with out notice of the umpires is what you generally want. They are there to adjudicate the game and not known they did so. Then we as fans/players actually respect the job that they are doing!!!
I am from NFL but watch a lot of local leagues in metro, but speak for NFL and the umpires i'm not sure how much they cost but some times get too involved with the game and it just becomes silly.

I have come onto your page to clear the air a touch,
There has been a massive rumour from metro that Lance Whitnall is coming across to coach one of the top teams in your league but not sure who the team is, has anyone heard this rumour and if there is any truth in it? This time of year there are a few rumours floating around and just wanted to know how much truth there is too it if any one can confirm or name which club.

Lance was seen scoping nagambie out apparently but I'm not sure they would be keen on bringing an outsider in would be asking for 2 much money

Nagambie would be a perfect fit 1 hour away from the outskirts of Melbourne

Pretty sure Lance lives in the northern suburbs anyway.
Has he officially been sacked/not decided to reapply at Glenroy yet?

The word I got recently is he will definitely be leaving one way or another and was pretty upset & emotional during their last H & A game.

Well sparra no they haven't! My source rang me this morning & said after the coaches & committee had voted over the last couple of days it was 50/50 for Murphy to stay! Russ backed Murphy in so he will continue to play for the Wombats....
Ofcourse Russ will back him in, they are mates, and an extra person to share the petrol costs with. haven't seen him in the best much so thought he had left already. Tail wagging the dog???

Hey Bomber word I'm getting is that Anthony Haysom is done for the year? Serious ankle injury, is in a moon boot & that it was borderline needing surgery & screws but without surgery will still be roughly 3months? If so that's a massive loss for you boys??

Whitnals doppelgänger plays Full Forward at the Gum... Maybe that's the confusion? The two pastey ginger Full Forwards we already have in the league is surely enough?!
'Gum Player: Beautiful day for footy.
Opponent: Not for you it's not!
'Gum Player: What do mean?
Opponent: You're a ranga and you're gonna get fried!

Why is this sort of stuff not investigated???

Its School yard Crap that's why,
Bit of a read for you all.

Dustin Martin Defends His "HOUSO WAR DANCE "
Richmond Tiger’s midfielder Dustin Martin has vowed to fight the AFL’s investigation into his two-fingered salute towards Collingwood supporters with the “Goodsie defence”.

During Collingwood’s 91-point fingering by the Tigers last Sunday, Martin gave the Magpie’s supporters a couple extra digits to think about, after copping three-quarters of consistent abuse from the crowd.

Martin defended his gesture as an expression of his blue collar Australian cultural heritage, and termed it a “traditional war dance”.

I came up in Campbelltown and Castlemaine. When any c*** was kickin (sic) off back home, the prongs would come up, no worries ’nuff said,” Martin told the Betoota Advocate.

“My old man is a Kiwi and me mum’s Aussie, so showing people where they can sit is a part of my cultural heritage.”

Associate Professor in Cultural Studies at Melbourne University, Chris Healy agrees that telling people to “get f***ed” is an ingrained part of Anglo-Australian culture.

“White Australians have been telling people to sit and rotate since the convict ships of the first fleet. There is even anecdotal evidence to suggest colonists saluted the Aboriginals in Botany Bay with this very gesture,” said Healy.

“Dustin Martin’s mullet and neck tattoo combination would suggest he comes from a demographic that spends a great deal of time telling people to get f***ed. Whether it’s the police, staff at Centrelink or a pub-owner – your typical ‘houso’ frequently reacts to conflict in this manner, leading me to consider it an Anglo-Australian war dance.”

This latest scandal for Dustin Martin comes less than a year after being handed a suspended $2000 fine from the AFL for throwing up a “jailbird salute” after a goal in a losing game against Carlton. Martin believes he can fight off a second fine.

Dustin pays homage to all of his “boys in the pen” with a heartfelt jailhouse tribute

“If Goodsie and Jetta can run around throwing spears, What’s wrong with throwing up the forks? This campaign against me is racially motivated, people are just scared of a proud white battla (sic) standing up and saying get f***ed,” said Martin.

“I’m tired of white Australians getting treated like second class citizens for expressing our culture. You have no idea what it feels like when a tidy young mum crosses the street with her kids after seeing your neck tatts, we feel like we don’t belong in our own country.”

Rumours emerged in recent days that Josh Dugan could lead a group of NRL players showing solidarity with an embattled Martin by performing similar houso war dances in games next round.

The AFL is definitely correct on Martin. Unless he is prepared to don the long sleeve and insert a packet of Winfield Reds under the region of the left bicep then his gesture has no credibility and simply serves to incite supporters of a team which has nothing left to hope for other than Scott Pendlebury scoring a place on Beauty and the Geek.
