"Rookie Alex Keath has been promoted to Adelaide’s primary squad in place of Himmelberg."

Great news. I needed to see those words on afc.com.au to believe it.

Just wait but there's more................

AFC "Can we get permission to move Himmelberg onto the LTI?"

AFL " No problems"

AFC " We wish to take Hampton off the LTI move Keath back to the Rookie list and then move Himmelberg onto the LTI and upgrade Keath"

AFL "We have upgraded Hampton and placed Keath on the Rookie list. We have re-examined the Himmelberg issye and no can do."

AFC " WTF? O.K. we will keep Hampton on the LTI list."

AFL "No can do, we have already upgraded Hampton, anything else we can do for you?"

Why would they do that when they can just let Keath play for us and then say we broke the rules and drop us out of the 8 as punishment ;)

Interesting discussion on SEN Pure Footy in regards to Alex Keath. Keath according to Glenn Luff from champion data was the best defender in the league last week.Daniher normally averages 10.1 ratings points per 100minutes. Keath kept him to negative .1
This from a guy that that has played a handful of games. Great effort Keath and well done Hamish Ogilvie.

Glenn Luff from Champion Data mentions Keath on this week's Pure Footy.

"Guidelines" not rules! ;)

Bit like allowing the Cats to trade yet another 1st round pick for Tuohy...

Why are surgeon's Mr's? I thought you had to become a doctor first in order to become a surgeon?
Someone who has completed a medical degree - the Bachelor of Medecine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) - is entitled to be called Doctor.

Specialists (including surgeons) have to complete a Masters degree. Someone with a Masters is entitled to be called Mr.

Someone who then goes on to complete a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) is, once again, called Doctor!

Just saw all that Hartigan v Keath chat in the Lever thread.

1. Hartigan has had a shite year, he's crap from about round 4 onwards (and Ive been one of his bigger fans). He is back to his typical brain farts, and the amount of times I would see him go 3rd man up in a contest and either not kill it properly and let the ball fall straight into our opposition's hands, or he would just completely impede Lever/Talia's attempt to spoil had me pulling my hair out. Our defence has looked 10x more stable without him in the side funnily enough.

I've got time for Hartigan, and would give him the chance to return to form etc, but he has had a terrible season this year, considering how far he's come and the season he had last year.

2. Keath has so much more upside than Hartigan does it's not funny. Keath >> Hartigan imo.

I can't remember what game it was, it might have been the Hawthorn game, but there was over half a dozen times where he left his man to go third man up and didn't get to the contest in time to affect it, or he'd get there but still have no impact, with Hawthorn then able to get the ball to his opponent. It was terrible and I'm normally a Hartigan fan.
