Perth people. Ever had one of the abominations across the road from the Paddo?

Absolute chunk of death. Only ever had one after about 25 pints.

Great when pissed but I imagine they'd be horrible sober.
Apparently but i also got turfed out of the place so i was in no state to judge

There are few things on this earth better than a good yiros/kebab. For those in Adelaide, Lamb Spit Yiros in the Central Market is the way to go. :thumbsu:

Had one for dinner on Saturday (sober) and it was pretty good. Dunno what you're complaining about...

Extra chicken, cheese, garlic sauce...mmm yeah

Been eating from Katik religiously for months now.

Huge size and delicious for only $5.50, I get 2 of them since I'm a big eater.
Great call! Was doing the same during footy season. Would make an awesome pre Friday night game feed. Like you said gotta go 2! 1 is more than enough, but for$5.50 might as well smash 2!

I need a kebab now! Pity Katik isn't open til all hours

Anywhere along Sydney rd, or just off.

Think the Half Moon cafe for vegetarians or Tibas Lebanese for DIY wraps, near Brunswick Arts. Best falafel as well.

At Tibas, you get a box with all the stuff in it, so any mix of chicken or lamb, pickles, hummus, tziki, tabouli, cheese rice or what have you and lebanese bread, or they do say various lamb or chicken wraps.

Half Moon do the best falafel kebabs I have had.

3. Fawkner Kebab House, Bonwick St Fawkner. Tucked away in suburban Fawkner so only locals would have heard about it but AFAIC it's a must try if you live anywhere near the area. Bake their own bread on site, have great meals and the kebabs are exceptional.

Great call! Beautiful filling, tasty, fresh kebabs! I forgot about this lil gem. Use to frequent this place for lunch when I was living in Hadfield (5 mins away) Only downside was / is from memory they close early-ish at around 7pm? So it's almost lunch or bust. Was disappointed a few times when tried to get a late-ish dinner.

Definitely tucked away. I only stumbled across the Bonwick shops after about 1 year, oops! It's amazing how it basically survives so well from local business and word of mouth. This place would kill it if had 11pm type traffic

Had one today for the first time in a couple of months, very satisfied. :hearts:

Prefer Nicks myself.

you aren't really spoilt for choice down there.

don't know about you lot but walking down that strip on a spring afternoon and having a decent kebab on the terrace still is good considering how much flak the places get (a lot of the area is a dump or neglected thanks to the council and notre dame)

Doner kebab 'inventor' Kadir Nurman dies in Berlin

The Turkish immigrant credited with inventing the doner kebab has died in Berlin aged 80.
Kadir Nurman set up a stall in West Berlin in 1972, selling grilled meat and salad inside a flat bread.
He had noticed the fast pace of city life and thought busy Berliners might like a meal they could carry with them.
Vale Kadir

It's already been mentioned a few times, but Ararats at Broadway in Nedlands across the road from UWA is THE BEST. So much meat and salad. I get chicken and cheese plus garlic sauce (duh). The service is really great too. The place is always packed but you don't end up waiting that long.

Gonna get one tomorrow for lunch :D

Ararat is extremely underrated one of the best kebabs in the country I reckon.

And you know its good when you see those of a Middle Eastern background eating there (including myself). My friends and I have gone with this particular motto "if one from a particular nation eats at their particular nations restaurant often you know its good"

Have recently, probably the last two months organised a kebab night every week with the boys. Greatest idea ever. I definitely recommend to get a group together and go out for Kebabs once a week. :thumbsu:

Anyone found any decent kebab places recently?
