We have got to keep chris tarrant... any thoughts of getting rid of him are simply due to this years form..which i agree wasnt the usual taz that we know......Expect a massive pre season from taz and just watch how good he plays in 06'......then if he has another bad year.......******** him off...

but for now...the bloke is an excitment machine....and hopefully he can get back into his 2003 form..

Love Taz, my favorite player...always tries (yes always, for the haters). He seems the focal point for most supporter frustrations...the ineptitude is not his (see midfield) He is a marquee player and they are few and far between. He's AA material when fit, as he as already shown, with delivery from a functional midfield. A trade would devastate me, but I'm not worried as it shouldnt and wont happen.

Keep him. When consistant, he is a star. If he can avoid inury and get back into his rhythm of 01-03, then we will get alot closer to winning a premiership.

As much as I would like to agree, I can't. Very bias view there, his second efforts are always needed, not when he is only told to lift his game. Admit it, that is true though. ;)

He has NEVER not chased (aka Lloyd, Fevola) yes, sometimes his efforts to reach for a ground level ball have looked ordinary, but you have to also admit...that has only been this year. Maybe he doesnt want to stretch at times fearing a knee blowout. His second efforts are always there and I will stick to that...its his first efforts that sometimes leave a little to be desired, and I'll give him the benefit of the doubt: injury.

Now now, on the team at this point, there should be virtually no one that is off-limits. However, you're right in that there's no need to trade him.

If we could get a good player and/or high first round picks for him, we'd have to at least look at the deal.

i woudlnt rule that out but only if we got something else in return. like lets

fevola picks 1 and 4 for tarrant and pick 2, 5!

teh only reason i would get rid of tarrant was to get an awesome midfielder.

After watching Daniel Kerr dominate in the 1st half against Sydney, i'll be willing to trade Tazza for him knowing that Buckley's a better full forward than Taz and that will have young Rusling ready in a couple of seasons as well as Travis Cloke and the returning Rocca.

exactly my point! taz is an awesome player but our forward line is loaded and we are lacking in the most important area of the ground! so it makes sense to trade him to fill teh void left by buckley. Thats if we dont already fill teh void with this years recruits

As you already have Tarrant, Rocca, T. Cloke, C. Cloke, Fraser and Rusling, you should trade Tarrant for a quality, quick outside midfielder.
