Is there anything named after Oakley at all in Victoria?
And he did loads more for the game than Basheer did

Exactly. And he was actually a league footballer like Jackson and Demetriou. Shucks Mister, even Gillon made it onto Carlton's supplementary list back when tamagotchis were a thing.

Basheer's just a slug in a suit.

The CEO pumping up the volume in his latest message. instead of space - KT has used lots of small sentences I have put / instead

Dear members and supporters,

It’s time to step up again./ Home game./Tough opponent./ Season on the line./ Are we up for it? /It’s a question for all of us.
.......

While adversity affects us all in different ways, people with character always find a way.

This group has character./Are we up for it? Don’t doubt it for a minute./It’s Robbie’s 150th/Jarman’s 50th./ And a sense of unfinished business will see to that.

And as always, we will all be there to bring them home.I swear we had half of the Etihad crowd last week…if noise is any indicator! The support we gave to the boys was outstanding.

Adelaide Oval needs to be at another level again. I know it will be./So bring on the rain./Bring on the cold.
/Bring on the Giants./The harder the better./See you at the footy.
KT

KT will be hurting.

The whole club should be but KT will be.
Yep he is hurting but he wasn't showing it as much as after other games. Had a brief chat to him in the Magarey Room at the post game ( it was warmer there than the GDV) and he was down, but I've seen worse this year. He is expecting to see you at the next home game!!

That's probably the best state to be in. It's good to see that he is emotionally attached to the club in that he hurts when we lose, but I don't want emotional decisions. I want our CEO to have a clear and rational mind, and go forth now that this season is shot to make all the decisions necessary to make sure this crap doesn't keep going next year.

I'm expecting to see him in Sydney before then....

I'll get to the Melbourne game I think.

I feel for KT, he's a really good operator but he like many of us has put a lot of faith in Ken and playing group but they've both let him down 2 years in a row.

He must now be questioning whether the list is as talented as first thought.

OK. So, I'm the first to admit that KT has been magnificent for the club. Off-field and On-field (before 2015) he has put in a great performance. Transition to AO spotless. China plans excellent.

Assuming that he is not a prime candidate for the AFL jobs recently available (I suspect that he might be) - he has some serious work to do on the football department, and I'm sure that he knows it.

The last letter to the CEO was basically a last-ditch appeal to supporters, as is the GDV re-opening. KT is a bloody good business man; he knows a sub-standard product.

If he sticks around (and I'm honestly not sure that he will), I would expect some MAJOR changes in the off-season. Not a reshuffle. We have the cash, it's time to use it - or else his whole period as CEO is in danger of being whittled away by a team that nobody wants to watch.

If we hadn't finished a kick From being in the 2014 GF, maybe my expectations would be lower.

Fast forward to 2017, we are a 5th to 10th side, something isn't right.

Our second tier players have not stepped up - Young, Gray, Impey, Neade, White, Ah Chee, Monfries to name a few.

I still can't believe those posters who thought Gus was in our best side, just goes to show that nobody is an expert on Big Footy.

Whats a pass mark? Keeping in mind they are playing near the defensive 50 for most of the game?

I hope so

I'm a big believer in Ken but what's been served up for the last few seasons is sub-par for this squad. I can handle going backwards to move forward but I can't tolerate more of the same.
