Where would he go? He is a perfect CEO for us but he is a million miles away from an AFL role. Melbourne is a big market for east coast executives and a guy spending his career in Adelaide in radio is not going anywhere.OK. So, I'm the first to admit that KT has been magnificent for the club. Off-field and On-field (before 2015) he has put in a great performance. Transition to AO spotless. China plans excellent.
Assuming that he is not a prime candidate for the AFL jobs recently available (I suspect that he might be) - he has some serious work to do on the football department, and I'm sure that he knows it.
The last letter to the CEO was basically a last-ditch appeal to supporters, as is the GDV re-opening. KT is a bloody good business man; he knows a sub-standard product.
If he sticks around (and I'm honestly not sure that he will), I would expect some MAJOR changes in the off-season. Not a reshuffle. We have the cash, it's time to use it - or else his whole period as CEO is in danger of being whittled away by a team that nobody wants to watch.
I think he was "consulting" if you know what I mean before joining Port via support from Whicker
