Young list nonsense aside, it's good to see he's trying. At least there is an admission that a) there is big discontent from the members, b) there are issues to deal with and c) they've ****ed things up

Given some of the language coming out of the club last year about its members and expectations, this is an 100% improvement

Agree with this.

KT has absolutely taken responsibility for our failures and having them corrected here. I just hope that doesn't mean he steps down on September 1st without personally addressing anything.
 
After a bit of reflection, I reckon there’s enough in that letter to suggest that KT knows that Ken’s position is untenable if we head into 2020 without finals this year.

The letter dropped after a bitterly disappointing crowd figure that is only going to get worse if our on-field form continues as is.

Like seriously, what has Hinkley ever done for you? You're here putting your nuts on the line for him while he's off smirking like a pig in shit, sipping coke zeroes on his deck chair and texting his manager to remind the media he has a big fat contract that can't be altered.

Newsflash Keith, Hinkley is a stubborn, selfish fool not worth sticking your neck out for. He's not your friend, your pal, or even a good Port Adelaide person. While you're here fretting and stressing and making yourself ill, Hinkley doesn't care. He has sold you up the river, stolen your oars and taken a steaming dump on your boat, and now he's on the bank grinning while he watches you paddle furiously in circles.

When this is over he'll swan back to Geelong and block your number. He won't thank you, he won't even give you a moment's thought. So stop protecting him like your life and soul depend on it. Stop defending him. Just admit you backed a dud and let it go.

Unhook the umbilical cord Keith. Step away from the noxious gas that is Ken, take a deep breath of fresh Alberton air, and realise that Port Adelaide is your family, not Hinkley. Soon enough he'll just be that shit dude you used to know.

Without wanting to be silly, I really think this weekend’s match against Essendon is Hinkley and the club’s sliding doors moment.

If we pull off the very unlikely feat of winning, there is some chance we could win the following three, and make the finals with enough momentum to pinch one. I know it’s pie in the sky and against the grain of most thinking here (including my own). However, this week’s fixture could be that important. I think Thomas is praying for this scenario to be delivered for his and Ken’s sake.

All of them have snubbed the supporters and assumed that they understand Port Adelaide totally but evidently they do not.

I am sick of the reference to 2014, that's gone, it's done, and I'm sick of the continual reminder of making the community proud. I'm sick of their spin.

KT won my faith early but it has fallen away rapidly. He is far too passive. The sanfl ate him alive, did what they wanted to do with him, how could he possibly be strong enough to deal with our afl football woes?

Koch is one that least understands Port Adelaide. How does one understand Port Adelaide and allow the changes that have occurred to our club and contract extensions under his watch? He doesn't understand football, blames players, praises Hinkley after failures, snubs members at an agm. Is that Port Adelaide?

The only problem is that you cant be doing the above, while your club wallows in faeces!

Successful organizations make the right calls, employ the right people and move on those who aren't, keep their core stakeholders engaged, are open to, and seek, advice to improve, and reach their KPI's. Right now it is impossible for Port to be the winning team you want, while it's foundation is so fundamentally flawed!

IMO it wont take much to turn this ship around ... But it is IMPOSSIBLE to achieve without some drastic change first. That is reality!

I think why I'm so pissed with it all stems from my hate with what the afl has done with our game all these changes , umpiring standard, cost of it all, Gill the smug prick and his merry man Hocking and Christian .

And just like in life you take it out on the ones you love even if you don't mean to. I have never felt this way about people at our club have always backed them and would defend 100% all of the time.

Anyway that's my whinge in the last 24 hrs I've been told to STFU and wake up on here lol I'm just I mad port fan and will take a break enjoy lads and lady's let's hope we can get this sorted as next yr is a big year for the club and no matter what happens I'll be there.

Yep. I think KT has made some bad decisions along the way, but I still respect him as a person. If all three of the K's leave our club at the end of the year, I'll wish KT well for the future. I couldn't give a shit about the future of the other two flogs.
