You could add on the endless leaks that keep coming out of the club these days, everyone seems to know our business before (all) the members do.

The club is actively leaking things to Rucci now in exchange for puff piece articles about how good the admin/coaches are and how crap the fans are.You could add on the endless leaks that keep coming out of the club these days, everyone seems to know our business before the members do.
Yeah this p***** me off, some one brought that up and he said he was going to look into it.You could add on the endless leaks that keep coming out of the club these days, everyone seems to know our business before (all) the members do.

Its happening because no one is concerned about consequences because the boss is a pushover.Yeah this p***** me off, some one brought that up and he said he was going to look into it.
If we make finals and win one this year, with the 2020 stuff we will make membership ground regardless. He also may have run off to the GC looking for that security, then we wouldn't be talking about sacking him. We are are down on membership and attendances and if he stays, it will get much worse before it gets better. He will need to win at least 8 out of the first 11 to gain members support back and not lose any more.
He does come across as too accepting, i think it's the new culture spreading throughout the club. Its happening because no one is concerned about consequences because the boss is a pushover.
Whats KT going to do other than wring his hands some more and say ’gee boys, could you maybe not?’
That and almost everyone is on fifty year contractsHe does come across as too accepting, i think it's the new culture spreading throughout the club.
That would be nice but I think we both know with our inconsistency it's unlikely to happen. If we make finals and win one this year, with the 2020 stuff we will make membership ground regardless.
Yeah, it won’t happen because it’s raining. That would be nice but I think we both know with our inconsistency it's unlikely to happen.

The thing that annoys me is playing a crap brand of footy AND losing. It's a waste of everyones time. Give us something!I think kt, the board, have had a talk to ken and explained to him, we dont care if we win or lose, we want the team to be exciting again. We dont want to save games by going so defensive with no forward line, and we want a tall forward line, old syle footy. Lets give kt and ken some leeway, i believe we will make the finals this year and cause some headaces and win a final
Since 1st November 2018, Wanganeen has replaced Fiachi, Darren Cahill filled the long standing vacant 10th directorship and recently Ross Haslam has resigned and been replaced by Andrew Day.
I have written several times that the board has to be transitioned out over 2, 3 or 4 years with 2 or 3 changes per year.
If Holly Ranson goes and studies in USA with her Fullbright scholarship, their academic year starts on first Tuesday of September after Labor Day holiday, she should resign and that would be 4 changes in 12 months. That's about as good as you are going to get.
I just liked an Adds post!Kochie and the board like you say should have been onto the co captains and squashed it. Think everybody is to blame, but ultinately it falls on kt shoes, as he is running the joint, and needs to toughen up and stop making everybody happy. I see him as being a better ceo after this eposide. Kt has an excellent footy brain, he played 300 games, he needs to use it a bit more and be tough on the coaches, players and admin. Thats ultimately what us supporters want. We all know we cant win every game, but if we lose, we want everybody to be unhappy about it and do it the port adelaide way
A non executive director is someone who is not an employee of the club on a day to day basis. Koch is a non executive director.and the problem is not so much the number of changes but the quality of the replacements. Andrew Day is listed as a 'Non Executive Director' . Does that mean Day does not get a vote and is simply there as a China consultant?
If and when Ms Ransom goes she will need to be replaced by a female as the AFL stipulates that all Boards must have two female Directors. I guess it will be another high flying female with no connection to the game?
He’s not in control of the club, just being buffeted by forces inside it.
I have no doubt we want to win and those involved are trying their best, but are we really hell bent on winning? Not making finals but saying "hey we were 11-4". Blaming inconsistency on youth. Saying to the opposition coach "Ah gee, someone had to lose." Being 'brave' in close losses. Making finals being a pass mark. It just screams of near enough is good enough.Nah I disagree with this. I think everyone at the club is hell bent on winning, its just not happening. The club has made a couple of mistakes, it happens, and those responsible will likely pay with their jobs in time.
No we are just more shittier in the wet.Are you saying port are dry track bullies!
Jenny Williams?and the problem is not so much the number of changes but the quality of the replacements. Andrew Day is listed as a 'Non Executive Director' . Does that mean Day does not get a vote and is simply there as a China consultant?

The board need people with deep pockets and great business experience not us true believers or ex players. Although having a global sports coach succes on the board makes sense and potentially one ex player but other than that we need deep pockets and great corporate connections.KT is doing what any CEO would do in the circumstance. He has to back the decisions of the Board as to do any thing else would result in a public s**t fight from which our Club might never recover. We live in a corporate world and defending corporate decisions and calming potentially explosive situations is what CEOs do when the decisions of the Board are questioned. We should not be s**t canning someone for doing his job in the corporate organisation that we have been forced to watch our Football Club become.
Keith Thomas did nothing more than admit directly to the Members that he had made mistakes and I just wish the air head who runs the show would show the same character and admit the same to the Members, not to the general public or the assembled media, but to the Members. Then again methinks I wish for too much. David Koch and his Board have sat back and allowed Keith Thomas to carry the can for past mistakes and I find that distasteful. For once it would be nice to get an e-mail from David Koch indentifying past mistakes and proposing a strategy for rectifying them.
Rather than sack the CEO, the Club needs what it cannot have, a spill of all Board positions and an election of ' true believers ' to the Board. I am of course talking about putting control of the PAFC back in the hands of members and sadly that will not happen.
Nah I disagree with this. I think everyone at the club is hell bent on winning, its just not happening. The club has made a couple of mistakes, it happens, and those responsible will likely pay with their jobs in time.
