It's a 'mates' club.
The most passive CEO in our history.
Has been spooked multiple times by the sanfl. It is no surprise we gained back a bit this year when Davies did the 2019 negotiating. I'm still convinced that had we had another CEO in the transition stages of the reserves we would not have lost all and sundry in one bloody meeting with sanfl.
Do you really have faith in this guy winning negotiations with the AFL on any matter?
If you want Ken gone you need to get rid of Keith, and the majority of the board.
If you want a tougher club we need different leaders.
The past players describe Keith as too passive.
Faith no more.

I'm not going to go trawl through threads and find any of the dozens of examples but just on the previous page he was called a "******* Norwood mole". KT deserves more respect than some people are giving him.
Yeah nah. If that the worst you’ve got you’re making a molehill out of a mole.

KT has done some fantastic work over the years and I personally don't think he's been shit all along or anything. I just think his time and message might be done and his part in the contract extension was most likely the beginning of that.
Same applies for Hinkley really, great first 2 years, died off after that.

Has he though? Genuine question because I'm struggling to think of a single positive aspect to his legacy.

We've gone nowhere with BBTB, we're up to our ears in debt, China has stagnated, the playing group culture is totally toxic, the club leaks like a sieve, we still have a ****ing Cornes in our ranks, and to top it all off we've just backed in the suckiest coach that ever sucked for his eighth straight year of utter mediocrity.

And that's not even mentioning the co-captains disaster!

The club is now rife with factions and tension, there's a total siege mentality, certain employees are blatantly using their contacts in the media to trash the fans, and the best KT can do is disappear off to China and then pop up blabbering nonsense on local radio.

It's not good enough.

I'm sure he's a nice bloke but ffs Port Adelaide isn't a charity. He's our CEO and is paid handsomely for his efforts, and as far as I can tell he's just flat out doing a terrible job of it. He's completely spineless and seems to exist to be Ken's little bitch. The fact that he even had a whinge about people calling him a Norwood flog shows he's nowhere near ruthless enough for the position he's in.

This was his last chance for redemption. He simply had to find a way to get rid of Hinkley. But like with everything else, when push came to shove he folded like a cheap suit and here we are.

Total failure. That will be his final legacy.

I'm not saying it's that big a deal. If it were, I'd be deleting the offending posts. It's just my view that KT deserves more respect than to be called names, labelled a plant, etc. But others clearly disagree.

I'd also like to note once more that KT does not have the unilateral ability to sack Hinkley. The board is in total control of that decision.

I am with you on this. I am fed up with the administration and leaders of my club. From the Chairman, Board, CEO, through to the Head Coach and Captains, we have stumbled from debacle to debacle! I am quite happy to see a broom sweep through & get rid of the lot of them!

I am on side with anyone cancelling memberships as a protest, sending in emails of protest, and/or any other strong means of letting the club know of member dissatisfaction. But, resorting to petty name calling is pathetic & childish IMO, and then attacking posters who come out and verbalize their dislike with said posts is really just hypocritical bullying!

I agree with the sentiment of most of the posts, I also want change, but I am not going to go full hysterical mode like some. I have emailed the club, I am not renewing next year, and I am going to seek & use every other balanced & dignified way to keep this in front of the club, but I am going to keep it dignified ... it has much more power that tantrum-throwing.

TBF he just about called himself that in his e-mail to supporters, which we all thought was him falling on his sword but that he's since revealed was just a ploy to shelter Hinkley from scrutiny.

To analyse KT's time at Port, you almost have to draw a line at midnight the night of the 2017 Elimination Final. Before that, there were plenty of good things he did that will last the test of time.

After that night and deciding to throw his lot in with Hinkley, the cupboard is very bare.

He called himself worse. Not sure I have read anything more then he is no longer capable of doing the job and that it is time to go, but may have missed it.

I find it hard to judge harshly when his job is to enact the will of the board.

Give us a decent board and then I'll judge Keith.

KT has had plenty of freedom from the board as well as having to deal with Koch's ego.

KT is driving the back Ken 100% bus.

Even pre-2017 has had some gloss come off it recently. Signing a stadium deal with a 35k breakeven and so much downside risk doesn’t look great heading into a potentially lean 2020 season. That could cripple the club for a long long time.
