If he is burnt out, then we would find someone better. The real question is, do we pay enough to get the right person??I get the impression that the strain of office has caught up with KT. When he first took on the CEO role he appeared far more decisive than he does these days. It is as if he is trying to second guess the crowd's reaction to everything he says. It is as if he is permanently fixed in damage control mode and he does not want to say something that he feels might come back to bite him in the arse.
I have no doubt that KT's heart is in the right place but I wonder if his 'use by date' is pretty close. The question is of course if KT did pull the pin would we get anyone better?
John James cut his pay in half to take on the Port job because he was a Port fan. Would a non Port fan who is the best/right candidate be prepared to do that?? Would Hitaf Rasheed be prepared to take a big pay cut to take the job??
