60 % of the State have always been anti Port Adelaide and that will never change. They loved it when we were going bad.All we can do is stick it up them on and off the field in future as nothing we do will sway their opinions.

This is very true but we must expect it from them.
They follow a team created by a court decision which was arrived at via the hatred of the PAFC.
We follow a team because we always have or in the case of converts, because it is right.
It will take at least a generation and a half to change this as many will have their hatred instilled in them from their parents.
We don't need to change, just fight for what is right.

Yes your right. In my experience they are the one bunch of so called football fans who delight in the misfortune of others.

They even steep so low that they wish long term injury on our players and are happy that one of are players passed away tragically.

Now they are afraid we are heading back to being the club we were in the pre afl days. They try to deflect with low arsed filth to make them selves feel better about their own "club".

I don't hate the adelaide football club persay but I hate the vast majority of their supporters. Especially the ones that use the media to spread lies and miss truths making the out them to be fact.

Now with KT running the off field and Ken in charge of the on field hopefully they might start shutting their traps and concentrate on their own teams performance..........but that may be wishful thinking.

That will change in time

I do believe a lot more kids are following us now because of exciting football played and they like the Wingards and Wines of this World

we simply have a better offering with a better guernsey, colours, players and positive outlook. No longer are we the underdogs, the victims etc; we are back to being a proud club.

Back to the way, it always was!

Worse apricot slice and knitting tutorials but.

I like apricot slice but has to be gluten free with a nice icing sugar glazing. A nice pot of tea pot, wrapped in a knitted doily, is an essential accompanying refresher.

Hang on, am I going for the wrong team?

What is it with the absolute campaignering that has been going on this last week in the media.
It's like all the journalist have started sniffing fumes and decided to unleash some holiday bile in their respective newspapers.

They are shit scared the way Port are going and getting all the limelight. The Adelaide and Melbourne press have article after article about Port. Where are the Crow's ones, oh that's right, nothing much to report.

Unabrow Penbow should have listened to Albert Einstein who stated "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough"

The Crows current high level of support is a historical oddity. They are a Carlton/Essendon to appeal to a higher socio-economic demographic.

The likes of Centrals, South, Eagles and others supporters are not a natural fit, it's only the hate that drove them there and keeps them there.

The next generation that would have followed these teams will break to us. You can't keep being the tea for a state when you have a rival, despite delusional claims. West Coast, Sydney and Brisbane don't. The more Adelaide tries to be all things to all supporters the less fans they'll hold tightly over time, as hate isn't the main reason to choose a club.

After all of Rucci's song and dance over the years about Port and postcode 5015, it seems our cross-road rival's fan base are far more firmly locked into a 5000 postcode mentality. Their new CE may have a more expansive vision.

If the presser was just an announcement of a new stadium deal Olsen would have his smug face in front of the camera's too. This press conference is clearly in spite of the SANFL.
Fagan may look like a frat boy but he's clearly no stooge and won't stand for the SANFL's shit. He and KT joining forces is a great thing.

The tide is turning. Yesterday some Crows supporting PAFC hating mates acknowledged that the SANFL is our common enemy in relation to Adelaide Oval revenue distribution.

A press conference like this never would have taken place, a) while Trigg was in charge, and b) while the SANFL still held the licenses.
Like Tina Turner going public with the abuse she copped during her marriage to Ike, we now feel comfortable in going public with the shit we've systematically copped from these goons for years.

My thoughts exactly. The bad thing is that there is no agreement resulting in them having to conduct a joint press conference to put their grievances and possible solutions in the public domain. The good thing is what you said - i.e. it appears that Fagan is no stooge. He could be only the second Crow I have admiration for after Blight.

Did you see the big news article announcing the crows have a knitting competition for the 2015 uniform starting with the socks? It is very exciting and its all the talk in bingo circles around the state! This is currently the leading entry:

PAFC needs to strike back otherwise legs 11 will be forever linked with the crows

This was another leading entry:

but sadly Betty, formerly from rose park, is no longer with us and couldn't finish her masterpiece before her untimely passing.

An old poster here, kaysee, just sent me this email:

Joint Port/Crows presser today... about AO/SANFL... should be good viewing. :)

Give kaysee our best wishes for a Merry Presser and a Happy New Year.
