Even Primus looked good when he was caretaker coach.

Falling over wooden spoon West Coast by a point at home in the worst game of football ever inflicted on anyone should've been enough to relegate him to Ben Allan/Todd Viney/Mark Bickley "look we get you're a club legend but coaching's a bit different to playing, hey" status.

......However, if it's an issue in the coaches box then it should be a matter for Chris Davies and Shaun Hart to sort out. Without knowing the intricacies of the football department setup I would have thought KT should be acting on advice from these two with regard to coaching appointments, etc because they are responsible for the general operations and performance of the coaching group....
KT backed in Rohde big time and once he took duties away from him that had he been loaded up with, because we had no $$$ to employ any help, Rohde flourished. His 30 odd years in the game was valued highly by KT as he had plenty of experience of the ups and downs of the caper. Chris Davies is still somewhat in work experience mode, he wouldn't have experienced a down turn like this before. KT also backed in Richo big time when he appointed him as coaching director as he knew he was getting a strategist as well as an administrator. Plus we were getting effectively 1.5 coaches output out of Richo as he had the family back in Melbourne, with his daughter finishing off year 12, so the workaholic he is he just spent his "spare time" working on footy. Hart isn't the strategist Richo was but is more the administrator type.

KT is missing 2 very important battlefield generals to assist him.

I’ve said it many times before, and I’ll say it again…the Port Adelaide Football Club is full of people with character, and is supported by an army of members and supporters who care deeply about what happens to this place.

We will not rest until we’ve got it right. And we’ll do it together.

I love KT. I love that he knows how the supporters feel. I love how he puts perspective into the situation. With leaders like this at Port, we will work through it. Maybe not this week, maybe not this year - but he wont accept long term failure and a solid path set.

10/10 KT
Funny isn't it. He surelly feels absolutely buggered and down himself, but one thing KT has is resilience and authenticity. He knows how to bring us all up again, and when we need that emotional pep talk. Thank you KT. I wish you had been my dad. I reckon I would have climbed Mt Everest for you.

Ok question then, if it is all the players fault who keeps selecting them? Whose job is it to make them give a crap? Surely just blaming players but continuing to select them and blame them seems like a shit coaching strategy to me. I get that you can't replace all 22 but then surely dropping a few offenders might do it sooner rather than later. But hell what would i know. For the record I am not blaming Hinkley solely and do not think he should be sacked however i do think he needs a strong strategist/tactician and personality to help him overcome some of his stubbornness.

I just can't blindly accept humiliating losses without questioning it … supporting Port Adelaide all my life has taught me that.

No CEO missives can posit a satisfactory explanation of how we came to be so pathetic.

At least in 2011 we were flat broke.

Not sure how anyone begins to explain what we have witnessed so far in 2016.

I fear a lot that we are becoming a Melbourne.

People want to live with their heads in the sand? Keep following we'll get good soon promise.

It's not just the match ups positioning blocking etc
It's our skills which means it's our drills and the speed and match relativity of them
This last line I just mentioned is how we break away from normal and become elite

If it was up to the people on here, Primus would still be coaching and we'd still be rebuilding the list waiting for our chance to start aiming towards the top 8.
I hope the decision makers at the club can make the hard decision and drop, delist, trade, fire players/coaches who aren't performing.

Bullshit. Go and dig up the GWS gameday thread from August 2012 and find me more than 1 or 2 people who said dont sack Primus.

Most Port people I know were not happy with the Primus appointment from the get-go, appointing from within that failing structure was the epitome of not being ruthless.

Are there any people here who are not members? Is it OK to put the email on here in full?
Just put the link in before and after. I put it in a post but forgot the links and it was removed.

Get a membership you scrub even the pointless 50 dollar ones or something get you the emails.
I am an inaugural Club 1870 member. Not everyone can afford $50. The club and supporters as a whole should be as inclusive as possible in the hope that when circumstances change a person will choose to sign up. When I asked I had not seen that KTs "email" was on the site.
