Keith Thomas in the last six months has begun to look an awful lot like Emperor Palpatine.

That will be KT today. He's always like that when the FIXture is released and he has to discuss it with the media.

Although last year he found it a little difficult to sell the commercial benefit of our 2018. In fact he was pretty pissed off. Still, this year he has more to put a positive spin on.

Labor and SA Best both promised to commit a few million to an Alberton upgrade before the State election, Libs got in, so no upgrade for us (or upgrades for anyone else, or money spent for any other public benefit whatsoever).

Kind of goes against the line of thinking that many have that we're not supposed to be a profitable organisation and everything should go back into community programs.
If we were banking cash we could be funding this ourselves.

In previous years there was always a sense of hope, that we were unlucky, that it just required a tweak and we'd be up there. Good players were coming to us, not leaving. Out players and club have grossly underachieved for 4 years straight. Supporters are right not to trust them.
