From a Hawthorn perspective. Is he a genuine CHB or just a spare parts tall? Don't really know much about him at all, except that he's looked solid when i've seen him.

What would you accept from the hawks?

Adelaide selected him in the draft ahead of Pavlich so he is or was highly rated by the club.

He has had a pretty good year playing down back but many people believe he is a 'dumb' player, doesn't pick the right options and stuff.

I don't think Adelaide would let him go, we are a 'aging' club as many people say and he is a pretty young key position player, hopefully a future club leader.

With Nigel retiring this year hopefully he will stand up and improve even more next year.

You could say that about every player chosen in the 1998 draft.

McGregor is a solid, honest defender and is our first choice centre half back. He's a bit underrated as he's been very good in the last couple of season, generally quite good at keeping his man quiet.

He's a generally a good mark. On a good day he'll provide some handy rebound off half back.

He's definitely a required player. KPPs seem to be in short supply across the entire league and with Smart possibly retiring this year it would take a good offer to see us want to part with him. And I can't see that happening, I think he's much more highly regarded at Adelaide than he is across the league.

McGregor is regarded by the club as our CHB for the next 10 years, and has looked every bit of that over the past 2 years.

Kenny wouldn't be up for trade.

Kenny is cool  definately a required player. A very solid CHB and has improved imensley over the past 2 seasons.

k
xx

He is 22 years old and has played some 70 odd games. First choice CHB who does his job week in week out. It would take somethig special for the club to let him go.

He has been rock solid in the last couple of years and the club considers him as our CHB for the next 10 years.

Pity.

With Rawlings turning himself into a premier forward, we've been left with a hole at CHB. Joel Smith has played there alot, as has Mark Graham. Would have liked a young bloke to slot in, but clearly he's not up for grabs.

dont rate him at all, havent seen him do anything bad but he hasnt shown anything to be excited about
He's that sort of player. One that club supporters love, but opposition fans don't take any notice of.

superstar,

He has really come along quite well this year. His weakness IMO is that's he doent use the ball quickly enough. If there is a player going past he will handball, but if he has to kick he takes his time and looks slow.
