The pick we used for Brent Moloney, pick 12 (which ended up being Danny Meyer to Richmond, we took Bate at 12 and Dunn at 15, Monfries was 14 and Pattison 15). Thompson showed us in 04 he was going to be a star, but we were never going to keep him. We could have gone after a higher pick but after pick 7 Bate looks the best of the lot anyway, and Thompson wasn't worth higher than 7. We just chose the wrong Geelong midfielder to take off their hands, looking back Bartel would have been nicer!!!

Jamar- no way. All our ruckman are better than him or on par... We have way too many ruckman... we've got 7 on the list if you count Sellar and Tippett as ruck (both were drafted as fwds but look more comfortable rucking atm). We need to get rid of one ruckman- most likely Biglands or Meesen (wants to go home). McGregor would be a handy player for you guys. If McGregor plays as a 3rd tall he would be real handy.

Depending on the interest you may get McGregor cheap. Personally I think Melbourne just had a Geelong 06 season, and your pretty darn good side.

What would it take to get an Aaron Davey? We need quick, crumbing forward and he is apparently one Adelaide are after.

We wouldn't get a Bell or Rivers, nor would we take a Jamar or anything like that so I can't see any deal being done. Much more likely to go to a Bulldogs or somewhere like that.
