We can't paint all Carlton supporters with the same brush, not matter how tempting it is to do so.

Exactly, almost all Carlton supporters have the up most respect for him ( Especially on BF as the board was his sponsor and he sat with some of the posters and functions etc.)

If you went on the Carlton board around the time of the Judd trade, there was numerous threads for support of Kennedy remaining and offloading either someone else or another pick. He publicly stated he wanted to remain at Carlton and most were sad to see that he had to go.


As for saying you got ripped off, I can't see that Judd is terrific and short term we win. Though, Let's not forget you received picks 3, 20 and Kennedy so basically picks 3, 4 and 20....pretty good if you ask me for the long term.
 
Good game by Kennedy, very impressed by him. great work ethic.

Alot of us Carlton supporters know he is a big talent and alot opposition supporters bagged him and it's good to see him showing the potential he has.:thumbsu:

i hope he continues on and develops into a very good player! (just not against us!!)

obviously its hard to get compensation for judd, but kennedy and masten look very good at this early stage. havent seen anything on notte though.
 
I reckon his atitude is fantastic, clearly the Carlton players love him too, the way they were going to him after the game. He is a great talent, hopefully most WC supporters would agree that the Judd trade was more even than first thought. Hope he has a fantastic career with the Eagles.

Love big Josh though - still not sold on Masten, I mean he is still a kid but hasnt had the same explosion onto the scene as someof the other kids - But he will get there.

I guess he is being thrown into the deep end with some senior mids out.

Cant wait to see Notte play - Apparently has hands of steel - dunno waht his kicking is like though.... and is thinner than Matty Lappin :eek:
 
Kennedy one of the shining lights tonight. Super impressed by his performance tonight. Provided a spark, and congratulate him on his efforts, he deserves it.

Great to see young Josh starting to show his wares for you. You've got a 10-year CHF, and many highlights to come there.

Damn, the thing we need most now is a CHF. You can't have everything I guess.
 
Masten needs time. He shouldnt really be playing as much and without much support in his first year. I think he will turn out to be a great player.

Kennedy - cornerstone of our club for the next 10 years.

Has shown he will be a fantastic player in the alst couple of weeks. I know not all Carlton supporters were a fan of him but i was upset too see him go but wish him all the best.

Good pair of hands and great work rate. Was a shining light tonight for you, he started that 6 goal streak with 2 great goals and when kerr, priddis and co come back he will get some better delivery.

Good luck to Josh and the eagles for the rest of the year

Or maybe it was the best thing to do, make him work for it and earn it? Remember, he's still only 20 so he's going to be a bit up and down, but I'm betting Woosh is prepared to work with him.

Finally a CHF that can take a contested mark. Kennedy will probably end up being the best CHF the Eagles have ever had, which wouldn't be too hard considering West Coast have never had a single outstanding CHF in it's 20 odd years.

Kennedy is going to be an absolute gold plated gun - he was fantastic tonight. Imagine him in our side two years ago with the quality ball coming in from Cuz, Kerr and Judd. But thats the past and he could be a key for us in the next few years.

He looks like the top flight player we all hoped Travis Gasper would be - very similar mobile, rangy big man. Very very exciting.

him and lynch have to be the hardest working KP forwards in the league. They just never stop chasing, never stop leading, never shy away from a tackle, and always put their head over the ball, doing their best for the team as a whole. Top job
 
Gee I love this guy. Always hard at it. Never puts a player in a worse position than he is (In other words a great decision maker). Always gets his hands free when being tackled and, most importantly hes got a bloody great pair of hands on him.

Tonight his game was good not great but in the first half i felt he was unlucky in a couple of contests not to get a free kick or be awarded the mark.

Does anyone else feel the same as me in the fact that every time it goes near him you feel confident like he going to win the contest?
