Love Josh he will be a ripper, nearly all Blues fans were devestated to lose him, especially as most Eagles and other AFL supporters did not see the value we did in Big Josh..

Thats changing!!

Good luck to him, my favourite non Carlton player in the comp....

We should be renegotiating a contract asap. He signed for 2 years but i wouldnt want him going back to Carlton.

If he keeps standing tall on the field then i can see a v.capt tag under his name in 2010. There will be a few players not around for whatever reasons then and we will need more leaders.

The Fridge for V.C. get on it:thumbsu:

I'll admit I was very skeptical about Kennedy when he came to our club. Hadn't seen him play much at Carlton and thought he was going to have a tough time getting a game in front of Lynch, Hansen and Cones.

I'm bloody glad I was wrong. Love the way Kennedy plays. Big, agile, can take a grab, kicks straight and works extremely hard. Everything you want in a CHF. :thumbsu:

and he can drop the v in v.c in about 2014 when coxy and glass move on too the afl hall of fame :thumbsu: :)

He also has second and third efforts in his game, never saw that at Carlton. He is a real gem, could be our Travis Cloke and play a real role for us. Am excited.:thumbsu:

things i noticed about him at carlton, where his second and third efforts, he lacked a bit of confidence which slowed him down.... he NEVER gives up is the best aspect of his game

Im becoming a massive fan of this bloke. Tall enough to be a dangerous one on one player in the goalsquare. Quick enough and agile enough around the forward line to apply defensive pressure. Takes a good strong mark and has a much greater presence on the ground than Hansen and Lynch combined.

The thing i liked most about him was that he was the first one in looking out for his team mates in those minor scuffles against the bullies.

You hit the nail right on the head. Presence. Something our foward line has lacked for a very very long time. He is already very impressive atm give him a couple of preseasons and he will be a Superstar.

One comment that grabbed my attention when watching the game against Carlton was by Tim Watson who pointed out that Kennedy was quicker than Waite on the lead..and we all know how agile & fast Waite is.

the thing to be weary off is that hes still developing

A he can jump...Staker can but cant mark
B he can run...Hansen can run but cant jump

so he can do both...

He can kick the friggin thing straight whch neither Lynch Hansen or Staker is very good at

yes he will be a star but just need to keep a lid on it for a bit

him Mckinley Lecca and Lynch could form a very potent forward line

chand jones has to go..butter fingers and cant kick
