Time to change your signature. It's making Hasleby look better than he is :D Oh and why dont you give handball stats? Is that because Kerr averages more handballs than Hase?

These are your stats...
Hasleby: 17.2 kicks, 25.2 posssesions, 6.7 marks, 1.0 goals, 2.0 tackles
Kerr: 9.0 kicks, 20.4 possesions, 2.4 marks, 0.8 goals, 2.8 tackles

These are the real stats...
Hasleby: 15.2 kicks, 23.3 disposals, 6.3 marks, 8.1 handballs, 0.9 goals, 1.7 tackles
Kerr: 9.2 kicks, 20 disposals, 2.2 marks, 10.7 handballs, 0.6 goals, 2.6 tackles

So as you can see your stats are a little outdated. Kerr is down slightly across the board except for his kicks. Hasleby though is down quite a lot across the board.

So change it :D

OK. Why would you include handballs though? And if someone wanted handballs, that's just possesions minus kicks. Just glancing at the stats, you can tell Kerr averages more handballs than Hasleby because he doesn't average many kicks

I notice Kerr is on the bench this week as well.

Yes Kenny, but you could put down handballs, and let people work out the kicks from that - or put down kicks and handballs and let people work out the total possessions from that. Just looks like you've picked the method that makes Haselby look the best - which is fair enough given your official allegiance to the purple.

And, yes I agree that at this point Hasleby is looking better this year than Kerr - although its reasonably marginal. If I was from a third club looking to recruit one or the other, at this stage I'd take Hasleby, but at the Eagles I'm happy to keep Kerr.

The Toasters couldn't have won their two flags without the Freo boys...
Let's see:
Jako, Woosha, Matera, Suma, Hart, Willo, Muddy, Monkey, Mainy the list goes on.
Funny how the lack of draft concessions finally caught up with you lot, and now you don't have carte blanche for signing Freo boys the competition has evened up a bit! ;)
Cousins, Chick, Kerr, Sampi, Peter's little bro..... where would you be this year without that crop of Freo fellas???:D

Just having a bit of fun.... I was singing the birds song loudly in the pubs of Freo in '92, by '94 I was signing up my newborn (firstborn) as an original dockers member (attracted by the brighter light which has been shining brightly ever since!).
Take a joke and don't take yourselves so seriously...

Mr Q, kicks are deemed a 'better' stat than a handball. For example, commentators say such and such got so many kicks... or in n fantasy footy, kicks were worth three points, handballs are worth two.

If I was picking methods to make Hasleby look better, I wouldn't have included tackles.

Who knows. My question is, where would we have been two years ago without that Freo fella as our coach?

Question without notice, my memory is getting "old timers disease", was Judge head hunted or was the coaching job opened for all applicants after Malthouse left?.

As for Hasleby and Kerr, both teams are happy with these two players, and I don't think they are going anywhere for a long time.

How is a kick rated more than a handball? If Kerr dives into a pack and somehow drags the ball out and dishes out a lightning fast handball to a running player who then kicks it out of bounds? Which was more valuble?

I think they are one and the same, kicks go further, thats about it.

Oh and I do think you are being selective in your stats :D

Oh and another point....people are saying Haselby is having a great season, could be AA etc etc and Kerr has been patchy and effected by injuries yet their stats arent all that different. I think that says a bit about which player is better.

Which once and for all proves one thing. Fremantle is more West Coast Eagles than Dockers. You cannot claim any Fremantle players because the best freo boys played for the Eagles and continue to do so. And since Fremantle are more Eagles than Dockers as our two premierships demonstrate, please be so kind to send us our best Freo players still playing for your club.

Imagine what Haslebys would have looked like if Fleming didn't knock him out in the first quarter against Richmond, or Neitz didn't give him 10 stitches to the back of the head in the 3rd quarter last week.

Well, Hasleby spent the majority of the game against Melbourne in round 9 on the bench getting his head stitched up after copping an elbow to the back of the head (caused by backing into a lead by Neitz to take a mark) and the charge from Fleming against Richmond in round 3 (just before quarter time) clearly affected him as he was stunned after the contact and didn't have the same impact for the rest of the game.

So it works both ways.
