Probably is in reality, but don't tell the natives that.

Took
WC 5 years with there huge kick start
Adelaide 6 years with theirs
Port 7 years with all the startups not nominating for the draft
Saints are still trying desite getting Kosi and Nick in 2000
Cats are still building after Bombers six years.

We expect a flag 4 years after starting again.

Starting again? Stretching it a bit!

A bit simplistic.

2002 Draftees

Selwood

Not one that was drafted in 2003 or 2004.

Compare that to our best 22 and you will see that by any objective measure we have come from a lot worse position and are still 1-2 years behind them.

Pretty simplistic isn't it Rip?

There in 2001
Bell
Black
Carr
Cook
Grover
Haselby
Longmuir
Parker
Haddrill
Walker
Thornton

Experienced Trades
Headland
Carr
Schofield
Farmer
McPharlin

2001
Graham Polak
Paul Medhurst

2002 Draftees
Byron Schammer
Ryan Crowley
Sandilands
Ryley Dunn

Only 2 players drafted in 2003 or 2004.
Peake and Mundy

Name your best 22 Rip?

All much of a muchness if you ask me. You will always be behind us for 1-2 years if you think this way. A worse position than you? Give it a rest!

Just a tad, not bad for a guy playing off the bench for much of the year. He is one of the best impact players in the game atm and the way Worsfold used him in spells this year really caught the umpires eye. Good on him.

He had strong midfield support this year taking the pressure of him and letting him slip under the radar, he'd be just like Des Headland at Brisbane a few years ago, if he came to Freo he'd soon be tagged out of the game.

Kerr was R/U in the Brownlow.

Polak is a superstar in the making.

Sounds like a pretty fair swap to me.

BBWWWWAHAHAHAHA......!!!

His value is exactly the same as it was this morning IMO

Always been a good player, dont need the umps to tell us that

having said that he is not the second best player in the comp this year

I don't want to discount what he has achieved this year, but honestly, even Eagles fans would have to agree Dean Cox had a better year than him, but ruckmen and key position players don't toll all that well in the brownlow for some reason.

The coaches rank their own player of the year, when is that announced? That's the one that counts in my opinion (I still think Kerr will rank highly, but might be lucky to make it into the top 10). It's time they throw out the umpires ranking games and leave it to the experts.

Eagles fans are pretty much unbarable atm, I can't imagine what they will be like if they win the grand final.

Tell that to Jim Stynes and Scott Wynd.

Stynes and Wynd??? That's stretching the memory.
Can you think of any ruckmen in the last 12 years that have deserved a Brownlow?

Luke Darcy was a favourite a couple of years back, but mostly there haven't been any ruckman that deserved it.

But don't worry about those details. It's easier just to say "ruckmen never poll well".

I am VERY curious to see how the lad polls in the clubs best and fairest. Dare I say he wont poll as good as he did in the Brownlow. He played a good roll this year for the eagles, but not that good.

We'll be okay about it.

However, IF we win, I look forward to not getting this type of drivel from your mob:

1. You inherited a state side at start-up, hence why you won 2 flags.

2. Since 1995, Freo & WCE = 0 Premierships.

I would be very very suprised if Kerr finished top 5 in the B&F this year.

I wouldn't.

Kerr has been one of our best all year - in no particular order:

Cousins
Cox
Kerr
Judd
Wirrpunda
