Schofield hurt his ankle in a marking contest in the third quarter , played on with the injury but eventually limped off in the last minutes of the game , maybe just a strain !

Nicoski's hammy looked pretty bad and at best I reckon 5-6 weeks . I think it will be 10 weeks is my guess , hope I am wrong ( normally am ) .

Woosha says prob 3 weeks with Nico, make of that what you will. Also said Kerr carried a sore back/neck into the game but wanted the run and will be better for it. Lynch will be back for round 1 and he said JK should be back.

Nico's didn't look too severe so I'd suggest ~7 weeks absolute max, probably more like 4-5. I think the other 2 will probably play R1 by how they looked and what the media reported.

Yeah Nico looks gone for 6 weeks with that hammy. Kerr was just grimacing because of the ice on his shoulder. He should be right to go.

Need Kennedy and Lynch back though. Nobody could kick goals.
No-one notice that after he took the ice off he grimmaced some more then massaged his 'hurt' shoulder:confused:

It looks bloody sore to me.

woosh said in his press conference that kerr had neck/shoulder soreness, its not a new injury, so atleast i dont think its a structural shoulder issue, just a sore muscle group. he said nikoski would be 2-3 weeks i wonder if he meant he would miss 2-3 games with a standard 4 week hammy? the only thing im really worried about is when asked about JK woosh said he wasn't sure if he'll play, all previous messaging from the club was that he'll play r1 and is on track, but woosh seemed alot less certain, also his particular foot injury is a bitch, ive had mild forms of it myself, and the only way for it to heal is to just not put weight through it.

I wonder if thats the current foot complaint Ive got. Play indoor soccer once a week for the past 6 months and the next day my root foot is just about always in some pain in the centre.

maybe, its all the tendons on the underside of the arch of your foot, its quite a common injury

Maybe its because you have been using it incorrectly :D

West Coast were well under the 2011 AFL average number of games lost due to injury, this year looks like we'll be making up for that.

Combine this possibility with the fact that other teams will be taking us more seriously this year and hence they'll start targetting Hurn and other key playmakers, it may be a tough year.

I love the quality of young players in the group, but I dare say we'll be on the edge of the top 4 again this year...probably 5th.
