LOL at the eagles fans who still think he "was aiming for his thigh"
Mitchell was sh*ting all over Kerr and the only option was for him to punch him in the nuts and try and get him off the ground.
Kerr gets an easy ride in a classy midfield
Lets see him dominate as much in a crap team in which Mitchell is in.
you just turned a decent thread into ****, good job arseh*le

People are intitled to thier opinion (unless it its norf supporters on thompson:P) but mitchell probably has the upper hand. Corse, he is my fave player, but although he may lack a little pace, he has no problem in breaking the packs. I recalled numerous times this year he would recieve the ball out of the ruck, and burst straight through dodging 3 or 4 tackles.

on the other hand, they are different players. Mitchell is more of an in and under, who feeds the ball out, while you will find kerr recieve's the ball from great work from the players around him.

Kerr by a mile. Mitchell is a one trick pony, guys like Kerr, Ball, McLean can do what Mitchell does, plus a lot more.

Only hawks fans would vote for Mitchell, and judging by the comments, they have.

Have you watched AFL football? Can you post like it if you have.As for the thread, there is no comparison. One is a matchwinning class act, the other is a mid paced in and under.

Lol can you please tell me what Luke Ball has over Mitchell  When you do then maybe we can try and find the cure to cancer. People on here haven't even watch much of Mitchell this year by the look of things. He added an extra string to his bow. He doesn't just attract the ball he is now breaking a lot more tackles and his pace has increased off the mark despite not being as fast in terms of closing speed.

According to a few people on here Kerr is a a lightning quick big strapping machine who runs through packs and always hits a target while Mitchell is a small slow hack whos only good for a handball  .

Lol, compare Brownlow votes if you don't mind.

Kerr has way more than Mitchell and has to compete with Cousins and Judd. Mitchell really has noone other than Hodge to compete with and both of them don't get many votes. Who do you think is better now?
You nuffy.
Do you not think that it helps that WCE win more games a year than the Hawks have the last few seasons.
It's much harder for a guy getting 30 possies and 8 clearances to get votes if his team loses 15 games in a row by comfortable margins.

As far as I know Collingwood beat us by quite a bit in round 16 but Kerr still got the 3 votes :thumbsu:

The cream will always rise to the top :)

Mitchell is a solid footballer, but I can't believe that anyone possessing the slightest amount of football nous taking him over Kerr.

Amazing what happens when Kerr is forced to play the Mitchell role as the first dibs clearance player with Judd out of the side.

He has gone from being the creative & explosive line breaker who would break tackles and take massive hangers, chase down opposition like a lion chasing it's prey to being a 6+ clearance a game grunt with a much less eye catching style - i.e Mitchell

With Joel Corey, Kane Cornes, Cross, Griffen, Cooney and Pavlich (i think he will play midfield/forward) in the midfield with him I think that Kerr could be BOG this week in the legends game - back to his best as a tough outside/predator midfielder.

Funny how things turn around... now Kerr is all alone over there.. he cant break a tag, and doesn't seem to take control of ANY games like he used to.

Mitchell >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kerr

The role that Mitchell and Kerr play make outside players look excellent - that includes forwards/wingers/outside mids

Kerr is killing the opposition in clearances with very little support

West Coast are getting plenty of clearances out of Kerr but the players he is giving the ball to suck compared to Ladson/Hodge/Dew/Crawf/Buddy/Young/Rioli ect

How are we supposed to win when guys who have played 5 games each like McKinley, Masten, McNamara & Ebert are on the end of a hand ball or Rosa, Stenglein, Embley, Fletcher & Braun are turning the ball over with every kick.

Kerr will star this weekend, had the week off last week and will be primed against Judd.

what I have seen of Kerr this year he is struggling to find the ball
