Have a player and a club ever been so suited to each other! Obviously Kev knows his chances of seeing action with the Socceroos are dwindling so he's made the move to get first team footy. Still, no way in hell should he ever be in the team ahead of Lucas Neill ...

Just an honest question, not meant as a dig or anything, but what do you think about the departure of Barry Ferguson?

Also, how's Henning Berg fitting in?

On Barry, a bit let down after everything he said after leading us to the treble last season. But looking at things I can't say that I'm that upset as 12 months ago it looked like he would leave anyway. Most Rangers fans I know, main gripe with him is, that he isn't telling us the whole story of way he really wanted to leave.

Rumors were that he loves to take his young boy to a nearby park to his home, however had to stop doing so because of the abuse he was copping from a group of Celtic fans in the area. That was solved about a year ago, but word is that a week or so back his house was attacked by Celtic fan, throwing bricks though his window. Fed up he just wants to get away from Glasgow and bring up his son away from the **** that goes on between the Old Firm.

On Wednesday after leading us though to the Champions League after the match he went over to the travelling fans to say goodbye and broke down crying, kissing the captains armband.

Still you have yourself a good player and we all wish him the best.

Henning Berg has aquitted himself well so far. I watched him play last Saturday against Hibs and he did really well. On Wednesday he was even better. So we hope he can keep it up.

Sounds like he left on amicable circumstances and has a passion for the teams he plays for.

Souness seems extremely excited, as am I, with Tugay aging, Barry is a great signing.

Selling Barry Ferguson is the death of Rangers FC. We might as well hand the trophy back to Celtic - we can't win the title without him.

Don't speak too soon. Rangers are close to signing Blackburn striker, Egil Ostenstad.

He'll lead you to the title!:D

Also, if you guys buy Egil, it should free up some room for us to pick up Dino Baggio.

Not a bad move for the lad. Millwall suits him well and are probably a decent chance to fight for promotion.
Imagine it happened! ****ing madness.

IIRC they lost a promotion a few years back (into the league?) and went nuts.

They did, we beat them in the last minute at the New Den in the playoff semi and they rioted after the game. It was all premeditated as there were loads of Millwall's firms leaving the ground well before the game finished to get to their pre-positioned petrol bombs. Some of my mates were there that night and were trapped in the ground as the Police tried to keep the Millwall 'fans' from getting in there to attack them. They'd seen a lot of bad stuff following Blues but nothing as scary as that. The riots weren't just around the ground either but all round the Bermondsey/Rotherhithe area. Buch of nutters, the lot of 'em.

No surprise then that every Premiership club rejoiced when Milwall's promotion bid failed. They do have a couple of decent players like Tim Cahill (who's now eligible to play for Australia).

Their games with Stoke and Cardiff would almost certainly define the term security nightmare!

I wouldn't say that. Arteta, will now get to play in his perfered position and it gives Stephen Hughes (not the ex Arsenal one) a chance to prove himself wide of Arteta, with Nerlinger off the left. Our defence is looking good and Michael Ball is an improvement on Numan. Klos is still in goal and Mols looks like he is back to his old form.

If Millwall ever make it up I can guarantee that the Leeds game won't be a family affair. As Leeds have got a bit of a reputation (and rightly so I must admit) from the 70s and 80s for hooligans all the smaller clubs are out to try and knock us off and prove themselves to be the best hooligans in the land.
