Callum Wilson has been delisted by the chooks. Would he be worth a rookie spot? While I'm not for taking discards from down the road, I reckon he could be worth a spot. Probably a question for those who spend lots of time at the WAFL, but is there more upside to Wilson than Sibosado?

Callum would probably be peeved at being on a rookie wage for 3 years, a likely pittance of a senior list contract for 1 year and then back to another rookie list wage. I wonder if he'll even nominate for the PSD/rookie draft.

If he did i'd take him with one of our last picks, he's not likely to go anywhere else now.

I assume Sumich would have a fair idea as to whether he'd be worth picking up. I was thinking about why we wouldn't have offered up our last pick as a trade, as apparently he was shopped during the week. I'm guessing it's because we don't want him on the main list, but maybe a rookie spot is on the cards.

What about Setanta?

He's 28 but a difficult forwad to match up on, would fit well with PAV up front.

Plus he's floored a Cloke which gets him bonus points

He can certainly crash packs, he's just on the wrong side of 25 is the problem.

That's only a problem if he costs anything.

As a mature age, late rookie pick for depth... no probs. (Not that I have any opinion on getting Setanta one way or another)

It depends on what else we could get with the same pick - a speccy against a player of known abilities. I doubt Sentanta would help us win a flag, so I'd probably prefer to get a speccy. More risk, but more potential. No loss, but possibly a win.
