Reckon Taberner might be a chance to replace Silvagni. Has the work rate and a serious tank just needs to provide lead after lead to draw a defender out of the 50m or just make a contest and let Mayne, Walters, Ballas do the rest.

You'll have plenty of support on here for one first rounder and decent quality steak knives for players of the ilk of HT and JR.

Geelong fans demanded 2 1st round picks, This was mentioned on a draft and trade thread and on the Geelong board.

Basically the only players that are worthy of being worth a 1st round pick compo is Fyfe, Barlow and Zac Clarke, even the Average bum would say that Freo would not even trade any of those 3 away.

I wrote on their board, I did suggest Trading our 1st and 2nd round pick but they knocked that back as I think Taylor as got easily 4-5 seasons left. I got this gut feeling Tarberner will be the Replacement for Pav once retired.

They even Knocked back our 1st and Zac Clarke say it was either not fair to geelong and the fact their ruck stocks are fine.

I thought it was a load of shit. Because it was out of nowhere. But this bloke is heavily in Freo / South Fremantle circles. I'm not one to peddle innuendo or rumour, but to trot out the old rumour mill cliche: "it's just what I've heard."
