I agree with you, but it wouldn't be the first time a player trade could not be organised and a third party came in who could match the trade demands to sign the player. Im not sure Crameri has the option of entering the Pre Sean Draft because he would end up at Melbourne who seem about two years behind the Bulldogs. If a deal can't be done then Crameri may have a choice between us and Melbourne (GWS will probably use their PSD pick on Mumford). Again, if we have a decent offer on the table I definitely think we have a chance. Michie and our first pick would get the deal done in my view (Bulldogs have reportedly offered pick 22)Crameri would be good but I think he has his heart set on the Bulldogs. Apparently has a great relationship with Brendan McCartney and would probably require a lot to convince him to move state.
The negotiations 'off the mark' is normal on the first day of the trade period. They will agree on something within the last two days.
