I agree with this. That is kind of my point though; if we're not bringing in a superstar it's not worth worrying about.
Fair point, even that wasn't the best Pavlich-less lineup we could field though. Silvagni isn't even in the same class as Bradley up forward. Clarke/Hannath is by no means our best ruck/forward combo either.
At any rate, I think we're on the same page. We need a really good KPF in order to compete with the best. At the moment we have Pavlich, after that?...
Yes, I agree we're on the same page.
I don't think these names Black, Kersten etc are the answer even if some of them are travelling nicely and might develop into stars.
The key forward that is important to how Ross Lyon's sides play football and what he believes wins premierships is a 25+ year old tall with over 100+ games experience, high running capacity, and smarts to get in the right places.
Jack Riewoldt fits that bill perfectly.
