Gday guys,

Obviously the crows are gonna have plenty of supply into their foward line this yr, with such a great midfield! So the fowards will have it easy enough, but who do u think will line up as the key fowards.

Welsh from the square im guessing will happen a bit as the leading option, hentschell played there succesfulyl early in the preseason so has jericho.
Ian Perie would be favourite to hold down CHF?????? McGregor maybe?

Thoughts...

Come on people, there isnt much else to write about.

IMO, our best forward structure in our best team for 2006 would be something like....

F: Welsh, McGregor, Edwards
HF: Thompson, Perrie, Hentschel

C: Burton, Roo, Mattner
HB: Torney, Bock, Bassett
B: Johncock, Rutten, Hart
Foll: Biglands, Goodwin, McLeod
Int: Clarke, Knights, Reilly, Van Berlo

While we have good depth everywhere else, we have a real problem with depth in the KP forward department. We only have Scott Stevens and Jericho with any kind of experience. After them there are the young and untried KPP's in Gibson and Obst and our young ruckmen like Maric, Meesen and Griffen who could perhaps fill in a bit. We could be in serious trouble if a couple of them got injured at the same time.

Thats what i thought mate, thought it would be a good discussion. Obviously this isnt a discussion board ... wont worry about it again.

So you beleive McGregor is best of foward.. interesting he dominates down back aswell.

As for dream team, very unliekly to pick a crows foward - way too inconsistent so not the reason at all.

McGregor is good up forward, he works well with Perrie. I like Bode as a crumber, if his kicking for goal improves he will be TNT.
Bodey is an animal, dives on the loose ball, tackles hard, goes in hard, thats something we have lacked for a long time. Sarge and Ken wont get outmarked too often, so they will either take the grab or knock the ball down, Stiffy is an option up there as well.

These two names should not be mentioned in the same sentance. :(
But probably will :(

You do realise he's using you for dream team prowess!;)

For the record none of the Crows forwards will do exceptional Riedwvolt or Tredera like things but the best value Crows seem to be KNIGHTS, chris, BOCK, nathan and HENTSHEL, trent:thumbsu:
