its is very true that red rooster chips do get soggy when left in the plastic bag for a little while..that sucks so bad

some red rooster stores are better than others too i reckon..
worst store i have come across is the watergardens one in melb.

soggy chips is their speciality..

the stuffing in red rooster is great..but the potato and gravy at kfc is supreme especially for chip dipping..

Hmm, do you want to know how that Potato & Gravy is made? I used to work there! The chips are beautiful, but I have eaten too many to enjoy them fully any more, so Red rooster chips for me!

KFC chips by a mile. Red Rooster they try and squash them all together and they all go soggy. McDonalds 'fries' are anorexic pieces of potato which taste horrible.

whats the potato and gravy made from - sewerage?

At the bottom of the cookers at KFC there are these containers which collect all the stuff that falls off the chicken (like the stuff you scrape of the BBQ after using it). They use that and some sort of powder to make the gravy.

Trust me, I know. I used to work at KFC. We also re-used raw chicken that fell on the ground, as long as we gave it a wash (we had to, other wise we got in ****). Due to being understaffed and overworked we rarely washed our hands, used one pair of tongs all day (and how many times did we drop em you have no idea). I could go on, but fact is we were one of the cleaner KFC's I've seen.

I avoid KFC, they are just too unhygienic and the cost cutting isn't helping.

Once you've worked in a restaurant/takeaway/cafe/supermarket,

you'll never want to eat again!

Man, some of the stuff I saw in my first few weeks in charge at local FoodFare was terrible. And we had just one a HYGIENE AWARD!!!.

Similar story to your potato-and-gravy, from a friend who used to work at a local chip place (Charcoal Chicken, THE nicest chips in the entire world (well that I've had anyway), and $2.80 gets you enough for 3 people. (Used to only be $1.50 when I started going 4 years ago).

Their gravy? Is somewhere between 3 and 4 weeks old, and failed basic hygiene tests. Also found to have illegal, addictive ingredients. (No wonder they had 2-300 college kids eating there every lunch....)

chipeeeees

I reckon that KFC use more chicken salt, and the chips are soggier, so you can skull them after a good session!
