So explain why you've posted so many times in a thread regarding KFC prices. Logically you don't go there and should have little to say about them.

Rubbish, I posted because it upsets me seeing young kids heading into these crap places for breakfast & after school.

Is it any wonder why the population has an obesity problem & a huge rise in diabetes.

That's right, they now offer a piece of lettuce & tomato, at a price you could eat at home for two days.

What is your point? They still offer things on the menu that are not meat. If people were concerned with the prices, vegetarian or not, they would not buy food from there.

You can also make a burger at home for much cheaper, grill some fish for much cheaper, or put some chips in the oven for much cheaper, but that has nothing to do with anything.

Your ignorance is beyond belief.

Exercise is also important. The youth of Australia are too scared to ride their bikes at the moment.

If you can eat 6 meals at home for the $7 or whatever that Maccas charge for a salad then congratulations. The rest of us however like our meals to be more then bread and vegemite.:thumbsu:

Enjoy your next salmonella wrap. :D

What are you talking about? When did I ever say anything about eating KFC.

Muppetry of the highest order. :thumbsu:

Well then they are obviously dumb & haven't researched all the foods you eat to get plenty of protein & iron etc.

Suggest you do some research on the net & look at all the fantastic vegetarian meals, which are high in protein & iron.

uh no - I'm not saying all vegetarians are unhealthy and don't get enough iron etc. I'm saying that there are some vegetarians (many that i know) that don't get enough protein and iron because they think that all meat is bad and dont do anything to replace what they are missing out on. Yes they are stupid, but there are many of them out there. As I give up meat every Lent, I know lentils/legumes/eggs etc all provide these things, but not all vegetarians do. Unfortunatly, there are many people who think that simply cutting out meat is enough to be "healthy"

I know your pretty old so you probably don't know many young people, but as a young female I can tell you that many girls my age think that they are improving their diet (mainly for weight loss) by simply cutting out meat and not replacing anything. If you did any research yourself you would learn that more and more young women are iron deficient now because they cut out meat because its portrayed as unhealthy.

Also, how can you say no vegetarians buy kfc or maccas? I know plenty who do - chips etc are still delicious and have no meat products (especially if you ask for no salt) I also know plenty of vegetarians who work at these places and certainly eat the food, often quite frequently.

You seem to make a lot of generalisations based on your own personal expereinces, just because your a vegetarian and you dont do something, doesnt mean that all vegetarians are the same.

I suggest you check out the oil they cook those chips in. ;)

Then they aren't true vegetarians, if they actually eat the meat products.

You mean apart from my kids. My son will never be vegetarian, my daughter tried it for 6 months, but still likes to have the occasaional chicken, beef or lamb in her meals, though the majority of her food is vegetarian.

I never forced my views on them, I always cooked them meat though it turned my stomach touching it & cooking it. But fortunately the one thing they did follow me in, is that Maccas, HJ & KFC are expensive unhealthy crap & that's what this thread is about remember.

How'd your kids get so lucky when the rest of us have to endure your opinionated babble. Why should they be spared? :D

I know you aren't a rocket scientist Hoggy, but vegetarians don't buy KFC or Maccas.

By the way, better be careful eating crap from KFC, you could end up with Salmonella. :D

****, you're an idiot.

Just because someone eats meat, doesn't mean they are going to eat unhealthy food all the time.

Meat is also good for you. Red meat gives you iron, etc, etc

****ing bint.

Oh and just for the record, my occupation is all about getting young kids active and exercising. What do you do to fix this? Picket fence outside a KFC?

1980s Kentucky Fried Chicken > 2000s KFC

:thumbsu:

I simply don't eat the crap anymore. It's a much poorer quality compared to 20+ years ago and it is expensive.
But when you have kids being paid a pittance working under quite a bit of duress things like quality, cleanliness and hygeine suffer.
Having said that, it isn't a place I'd ever like to work at.

yay for KFC!

In Villawood a ten year old girl eats a twister that she shares with her brother and parents. They all fall ill with salmonella, girls get ends up paralysed and in a wheelchair, while ex-employee's at the store reveal disturbing practices such as undercooked chicken or chicken dropping on the ground and being served anyway. Then, KFC has the gumption not to settle out of court and is now facing a $10 million lawsuit.

.
how many kids do you see going into KFC/maccas on a schoolday? 50?
how many schoolkids are there in box hill? 1,000?
a schoolkid, on average, goes there once every twenty days. OMG OMG OMG. THEY`RE ALL GOING TO DIE.

I dont care what the price is ... that chicken is like god jizzed in my mouth! Kinda acts like steroids too, always feel more energetic and stronger when I eat it.

This statement suggests that you have prior experience with God jizzing in your mouth, and yet, I have no recollection of ever meeting you.

:D

I usually get a regular Fillet burger meal plus another burger on its own which costs $12.90 but who cares, it tastes so good and i only eat it once a week.

I've thrown up after both times I've tried wicked wings, they literally drip with chicken fat, makes me feel sick just thinking about it. Throwing up KFC is an unforgettable experience, something about the texture...

I don't feel energetic after KFC, all it makes me want to do is go the toilet. I only ever get the burger, can't stand chicken wings.

I know first hand, Wicked Wings are horrible. Honestly they are so close to being off when we cook them, really funny smell. But the managers say everything is ok. I beg to differ, shouldn't be selling them imo.
