If we get flogged next week i think i will ring up SEN and publically broadcast what a tosser said caller was for blowing his load over one win ... when the whole football world had rightfully questioned the direction our team and club as a whole was heading in during the past week

What exactly does anyone have to apologise for? Criticising a side for dishing up crap for the previous 2 weeks on top of most of the previous 25 years. The criticism they copped this week was hardly over the top and as Cogga said if it results in things changing at the club then it can't really hurt can it?
 
well if that true I'm pretty dissapointed, I've been thru thick and %^$# thin with this club for 26 years as a member, since I was 13 , I'm entitled to vent my spleen. I might add I went out of my way to be at Subiaco today, pretty hard act following last weeks fiasco....

All Ive got to say to the moderators is show some class...that's as weak as P_iss:mad:

Agreed ...

Looking to see if our Mods had posted at all this week defending our club and it`s direction but you cant look that up anymore with the new design .

Can anyone enlighten us as to whether or not Khan or Peej flew the flag this week ?

dude, who gives a ____? a bit to much, a bit to little, the whole thing hinges on the next round and so on. What is quite clear atm is that next thursday we will see how big TW's balls are. ie Bowden and Pettifer are available as is Connors.

Its going to be interesting.

BTW, dont know if anyone else noticed, but for the first time in 4 years, TW looked like someone who has been under pressure at the interview.

And bagging the team at every opportunity under the safety of an anonymous name on a web site and then bringing up a 26 year career of following the tigers as justification isn't ???

Chill out - everyone here is protected by the beauty of being not known other than by a usename on a website.

All I did was point out negativity posted on this board. Something which the culprits are now boasting about and saying they make no apologies for. Don't be so precious.

So don't whinge and bitch when your thoughts are relayed to a wider audience. However i must say no posts were quoted so nothing to get to upset about.

Congratulations Richmond for a great win. Now lets carry this exciting form on to the coming weeks.

Cogga - i wa son hold for 35 mins and rehearsed what i wanted to say a few times and then next thing i was on . When finey asked for names yours came to mind automatically. I know your heart beats Black & Gold. and so does everyone else who posts regularly on this board.

And it wasn't about blowing my load over one win and those who suggessted that obviously did not hearthe call, just reacting to second hand news - bit like the thread on how we trained during the week.

I also stuck up for the club agaisnt Finey when he said we should not have dropped Bowden - i said he needs a number of weeks at the Burgers. So it wasn't just a "character assination " of certain big footy posters as some think.

might pay to look up who posted a thread "i think we might win this week" partner, I dont appreciate the slap one little bit...The undercurrent of any of my threads raises questions on our approach to this or that...Never baseless sledging....Be careful what you say..your talking to some one who bleeds yellow and black:eek:

Naming names was unnessecary, shouldn't have done it.

But the overall message of the call sounds genuine and if you take out the names there's nothing to dispute - supporters of any club shouldn't be too quick to pull the trigger.

Only "name" i named was my own.

Gave my real name and suburb.

Big Footy is often quoted on that show. I often hear "The Postman" repeat quotes and name the posters so the message is if you post here it could end up somewhere else.

I did much less. No posts mentioned
 
Hmm, I guess it's okay to bag previous radio callers who were wrong, so why not the same regarding posters?

Also you're right, naming usernames is better than actual names. Nothing in it I reckon.


Newspapers name Big Footy posters all the time too.

the problem is that the posters were not wrong because by and large all they were doing were calling for change. And like clockwork things changed when things changed....funny how that happens isnt it?

Got no problem with whatever happened on the radio, apart from the "apology" thing. Not that the apology thing is a biggy, only because if we start having to apologise for venting our spleens because of what we see and what we dont see, then we might as well all join a religious sect and hold hands and speak in tongues etc. ;)

No, some of the criticism was on that, much of it was on the actual footballers skills etc..
